Do people dream when they die?

I am an atheist, but I also respect any religious faction. I didn't care much about the theory of ghosts and gods until I couldn't understand the strange things I encountered in recent years, and my atheism consciousness began to shake.

I was in the army for the first time. We went for training, and only a few people stayed in the army barracks. The remaining people add up to less than one company and live in our company. A driver lived in my bunk and died in a car accident one day. It's normal to die in the army, and no one cares too much.

But a few days later, nearby college students came to our army for military training and stayed with us. There is a college student living in my bed, with the dead driver. As a result, my classmates got up in the middle of the night and shouted, where are my socks? Where are my socks? Noise keeps others awake. Others don't know, but soldiers know, so they change their bunks. Because the dead driver really didn't wear socks when he died.
