As middle school students, they lack motivation and interest in learning, which is very common in rural middle schools. In the process of education and teaching, we specially collected some relevant cases:

Case 1: Liu, a student, is often absent-minded in class, looking around, not taking notes, carelessly handling homework after class, and sometimes even finishing it, and his grades are declining.

Case 2: Student Chen Mou often dozes off in class, but she is full of energy after class. Homework is often unfinished, and there is little preview and review. Poor foundation and poor grades.

Case 3: Ye, a student, has a good learning foundation, but since he became obsessed with computers, his grades have plummeted and he is unwilling to attend classes. He likes to make funny moves or tell jokes to make the whole class laugh and undermine classroom discipline.

There are still many of the above phenomena. We call this kind of psychological state that students lose interest in school life, feel bored and indifferent, or their bad behavior in learning activities. Learning weariness is the main problem behavior of students in learning activities, and its basic characteristics are as follows:

First, the learning motivation is insufficient. This phenomenon is quite common among middle school students. Among these students, there are students who are clear-headed, have their own views on problems and study well; There are also middle school students who can keep up with the learning progress, but they are often worried that their exam rankings will move backwards; There are also students who have a little difficulty in learning, but they know that their efforts are slightly worse. In the face of fierce competition in schools, their general inner feelings are: learning is boring, and the situation forces them to study, but learning is very boring.

Second, lose interest in learning. Most of these students are underachievers. They think that studying is a hard job, which is simply a hell on earth. They have completely lost their interest in learning, but due to the situation and the requirements of their parents, they have to go to school with their schoolbags on their backs every day and be monks for a day. They are listless about learning and lack the motivation to actively explore. They are bored, distressed and sometimes idle. They doubt their ability, think that they are not materials for further study, and look forward to graduating early in order to get rid of them as soon as possible.

Third, don't study at all. These students are in chaos all day. Although they carry schoolbags to school every day, they are actually killing time. Some lack feelings for teachers and have tense relations. Their interests lie in playing, shopping, playing video games and watching videos. They are often late, leave early and skip classes. I have a headache when I pick up a book, and I feel sleepy when I sit in the classroom. I seldom discuss study with my classmates, but I know all about sports stars, sports events, movie stars, young singers, youth idols, anecdotes and so on.

Fourth, the mental activity ability is poor. Students who are tired of learning tend to be distracted in class, and they are completely in a passive and negative state in their after-school learning activities. The specific performance is often inattention in class, inattention in homework, and perseverance in preview and review. It is difficult to systematize the subject knowledge. If you learn today and forget tomorrow, you will not be able to master the knowledge firmly, your academic performance will be difficult to improve, and you will gradually lose interest in learning. Such is the performance of a student named Liu.

Fifth, there is a certain tendency to attack. Due to poor grades and frustrated self-esteem, it is easy to have inferiority complex. In order to reflect their self-worth and establish their self-image, they try their best to attract others' attention, satisfy their vanity and maintain their "self-esteem" through some "showing off" ways, such as Ye in Case 3.

Sixth, the loss. The data shows that nearly 5 million school-age children in China have dropped out of school, and most of them are in rural areas. With the rapid development of economic construction and the urgent demand for a large number of talents, as a basic education to improve national quality, a large number of students are unemployed, which is a serious consequence of being tired of learning to some extent. According to the survey, from primary school to university, from rural to urban, from coastal to inland, the phenomenon of student drain can be seen everywhere, and its number is still growing.

With the development of science and technology and the rapid increase of knowledge and skills, in this information age, "it is never too late to learn" and "lifelong learning is the lifestyle of 2 1 century" have become people's knowledge, but more and more middle school students are tired of learning. Many teachers deeply sigh: How can we teach students if they don't study? Indeed, the process from teacher to student is complicated.
