Detailed explanation:
1. The origin of swordsmanship: Among the documented swordsmanship, the oldest is the school called Nakajo Itto-ryu, which was created by Nagahide Nakajo Hyogo ( ?—1384), so Nakajo Nagahide should be regarded as the earliest swordsman to establish the school. Later, along the swordsmanship principles of Nakajo Itto-ryu, schools such as Tomita-ryu, One-sword-ryu, Hokatsu One-sword-ryu, and Muto-ryu were produced.
After the emergence of the faction that started with Nakajo Itto-ryu, a century later, that is, in the first half of the 15th century, the swordsman Ijo Chokaisai (1387-1488) founded the Shinto-ryu, whose full name was Tenshin. Pass on the incense and Shinto flow. From then on, the divination style, the Satsuma style style, the heart-shaped sword style, etc. developed.
About half a century later, Yinliu was born in the hands of the swordsman Aizhou Yixiangsai (1452-1538). As we all know, many "new undercurrents" such as the Shininryu, Yagyu Shininryu, Naishin Kageryu, etc. soon came into being after this, and a huge faction emerged.
Paying attention to the background of these three eras, it is not difficult to see that the birth, development and maturity of the swordsmanship school happened in the troubled times from the Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Warring States Period. In the midst of war, "surviving" is more effective than any harsh training in stimulating warriors to significantly improve their strength. Therefore, the rapid evolution of swordsmanship is natural.
The core of early swordsmanship was "killing with one strike." Whether to kill or be killed can be decided in an instant. Therefore, the first blow is usually also the last blow. The idea of ??"one blow determines the outcome" requires the swordsman to be able to do it quickly. Concentrate and accurately strike at your opponent's weaknesses. In the next 300 years, the phrase "kill the opponent before being killed" summarized based on the above theory became the motto of all schools, writing a bloody history of swordsmen.
2. Pre-Edo Period: Ichino Tachi ~ Kashima Shinto-ryu The founder of Shinto-ryu was Tsukahara Buden (1489-1571). He combined the tachi technique passed down by the Tsukahara family with Changwei Kashima Shinto-ryu was created by merging Sai's Shinto-ryu.
The characteristics of the school are very simple, focusing on the pure "one-hit kill" sword technique. Bu Chuan fought 19 battles with the real sword in his life and fought 39 times without ever losing. He also served as the swordsmanship teacher of the then general Ashikaga Ikki.
Kodachi no Tori ~ Tomita-ryu Tomita-ryu is a swordsmanship created by the elder Tomita Kurozaemon, who was born in Nakajo-ryu. The famous figures of the school include Tomita Segen (1519-?) and Seigen. His younger brother's son-in-law Echigo Mori Shigemasa and others.
Tomita-ryu is a school that uses the Kodachi. The specifications of the Kodachi are nearly half shorter than the official long sword, but because of its "shortness", it can exert advantages such as flexibility and speed in battle.
The largest school in history - Shinyin-ryu. The famous Shinin-ryu is developed from the Yin-ryu of Yixiangzhai, hence its name. At the same time, the pronunciation of the word "xin" also has the same phonetic sounds as "心", "神", and "真", so there is also the saying "Zhenxin Xinyinliu".
The founder, Kamiizumi Ise Morinobu Tsuna, was a famous spearman of the Uesugi Kenshin family when he was young. After the death of Uesugi, he stayed out of office for the rest of his life. Takeda Shingen once invited him but was rejected. In his subsequent career , he studied swordsmanship and created a new Yinliu.
Shininryu should be said to have played a positive role in the history of swordsmanship. First of all, it used bamboo swords for fighting exercises, which was unprecedented at the time. At least in terms of safety factor, it avoided many unnecessary of harm.
In addition, the new Yinliu initially determined the hierarchy of strength as "junior - superior - all without permission". Practice with bamboo swords to improve your strength, and then gradually teach higher skills. . . . . . . And so on, a complete set of swordsmanship training systems that are still in use today were completed.
"How to avoid being killed and kill the opponent?" Nobutsuna's answer is: "Reasonable training is everything."
In this rationalized and popularized system After the method was established, the Shinin-liu developed at an extremely fast speed, and many branches emerged that were superior to others.
Here, two important figures must be mentioned, they are Yagyu Ishishusai and Kamiya Denshinsai.
Yagyu Ishishusai (1527-1646) served as an official under Miyoshi Nagakei and Oda Nobunaga. Later, he retired due to illness. He was taught by Nobutsuna and incorporated the techniques of Shintoryu. The essence lies in the technique of "killing without a knife" to control the opponent www.verypsp.com with bare hands (KK slang: Isn't it just a sword strike with bare hands? It's so cool! If you can hold bullets with bare hands, I will definitely admire you. ^_^). After Ishishusai, his fifth son Tajima Morimunetsugi (1571-1668) and his eldest son's son Hyogo Suketomon (1579-1650) assisted the Tokugawa shogunate as Edo Yagyu and Owari Yagyu respectively, and later For centuries, they maintained their image as a clan of swordsmen who commanded respect and maintained peace and prosperity.
When Kamiya Denshinsai (1592-1668) was a young man, his famous father-in-law Zaemon, his disciple Ogasa Genshinsai who was confident in his martial arts, was also the main person who confirmed the "True Heart Yinryu". But his glory was always overshadowed by the prosperous Yagyu clan. It was not until two and a half centuries later, when Japan was in turmoil again, that powerful super swordsmen began to appear from the Shinshin Yinryu. This is a story later.
3. Human beings acquired swordsmanship in the post-Edo period. Ittō-ryu originated from a man named Itō Ittousai. The details are unknown. When he was young, his name was Itō Kagehisa. The master is a disciple of Tomita-ryu, named Zhongmaki Jisai.
Compared with many other famous swordsmen, this Ittosai has many special features. He was once attacked by an enemy who stole his beloved knife while he was lying drunk, and tried to get the knife back many times during his escape. Itō Itōsai's penchant for alcohol is documented to have put him in danger on many occasions. All in all, this is a very comic character.
From Ito Itto-ryu, many Itto-ryu developed, including Ono Itto-ryu, Furuto Itto-ryu, Mito Itto-ryu and Mizoguchi Itto-ryu.

Hayashaki Jinsuke (Kamiyumu, Hayashizaki-ryu): the founder of the sword-playing technique.
The son of Asano Suma, the retainer of the lord of Oka Castle (another theory is that he was the second son of the Kamakura shogunate when he was in charge of Hitaitai), he was famous as a young man. When he was six years old, his father was killed by a diner from the same domain in a sneak attack on the main table. Minzhi vowed to avenge his father. However, the main chef was a famous first-class swordsman at that time. It was not easy to avenge his father. When Minji was twelve years old, he went to Hayashizaki Shrine to pray. Every night, regardless of snow or rain, he went to the forest with a wooden sword and used a big tree as his opponent. In the middle, I saw an old man with white hair and said to him: "You have the destiny to found a sect and establish a stream, but you need to understand the principle that a sword with a long handle is more beneficial, and try it with this sword." After saying this, he handed him a sword. At this time, Minzhi woke up in shock. Based on what he saw in his dream, he whittled a wooden sword with a handle two feet long and a sword three feet long. He continued to practice and finally created the school of knife-wielding skills. Yuan After changing his name to Hayashizaki Jinsuke Shigenobu, he embarked on a journey to find the enemy who killed his father. One day, he finally met the enemy's master chef in Settsu, so he challenged him. Seeing how young he was, the master chef couldn't help but sneer and said: " Since you challenged me, I cannot spare you your life, but I think you are young and pitiful, so to save you pain, I can give you a knife to kill you." After saying this, he continued to sneer, but Jinsuke, who was facing each other three feet away, raised the knife He struck out and split the main chef's head in half with a single blow of the knife, while the main chef's hand only reached the handle of the knife. From then on, Hayashizaki Jinsuke became famous.
The strongest swordsman who bears fate! Miyamoto Musashi Sasaki Kojiro
There is no need to introduce nonsense to Miyamoto Musashi: a swordsman in the late Warring States Period and early Edo Period, Japan The strongest warrior and the founder of Ertian's first class.
In 1585, in Miyamoto Village in the United States, the son of the swordsman Shinmon Musashi was born. He was Shinmon Musashi, who would become the famous Miyamoto Musashi in the future.
Musashi had superhuman strength when he was young and could throw the heaviest man or cattle in the village. And he won his first sword duel when he was 13 years old. He has never lost a battle in his life, which further proves that he not only has extraordinary martial arts, but is also a strategist who is well versed in tactics - a man who understands martial arts. People will not get such results.
In fact, when he was young, Musashi participated in the famous Sekigahara Battle: he was an ordinary soldier in the Kita Army. Of course, Toyotomi was defeated, and Musashi returned without success. From that time on, he began his wandering training career.
First, he defeated Yoshioka Gojuro in Kyoto, and then defeated Hoho-in in Nara. After that, Eki’s dream Gonnosuke, Iga’s Rokuhe Umeken, and Yoshioka Ichimon in Kyoto , were defeated one after another by Musashi's sword.
By 1612, Musashi's fame reached its peak when he killed the world-famous Sasaki Koenro in a duel on Genliu Island.
In 1634, he met Ogasawara and Tadama in Ogura. After leaving, he participated in the Shimabara Rebellion and served as a supervisor.
In 1640, the Hosokawa family of Ni Kumamoto came out. In 1641, he proposed thirty-five military reports. He died in 1645, leaving behind the famous "Five Wheels Book".
What kind of swordsman was Musashi’s biggest rival in his life, Sasaki Kojiro?
Kojiro was different from Musashi, who came from a not-so-rich family and had a life full of twists and turns.
He has grown up with praise and support since he was a child, but he is by no means a samurai in name only. In the sword skills trial in Kyoto, he won everyone's recognition for his strength that surpassed all samurai. Some people also say that although he lost in the duel, Xiao Huanlang's strength is actually superior to Musashi.
But what exactly are his martial arts skills? Kojiro was trained by Zhongmaki of the Itto style, and also learned the techniques of Tomita style. However, the long sword he used was different from that of Kodachi. The essence is incompatible... Yanliu's unique skill "Swallow Return" is completely his own creation... Kojiro's swordsmanship is a complete mystery. Speaking of Xiao Huanlang, I can't help but want to talk about "Samurai Soul". The one I want to talk about here is Kikyo Ukyo, although this is a basically fictional character.
Kiki Ukyo is a descendant of the royal family. He is elegant and free-spirited. In the setting, he comes from a sect called "Kami Yume Itto Ryu". Therefore, there is no doubt that he is closely related to Hayashizaki Myojin Yue Totsu Ryu. . But in GAME, Kikyo Ukyo actually uses Kojiro's secret sword Yangai, so his swordsmanship is also mixed with mysterious Yanliu elements.
If we want to trace his prototype, then the handsome man who was born in that era, a master of the Iai sword-drawing technique, and suffered from chronic lung disease, the one closest to these characteristics should be the Takanan-ryu. One of his disciples is Miyabo Taro (Friends who have read Yamada Fuutarou's novel "Makai Reincarnation" will definitely be impressed.
Let's talk about Kojiro. Although he once learned Tomita-ryu's Kodachi technique from Zhongmaki Jisai , but the Yan style created by Kojiro himself uses a tachi that is much longer than Kodachi. Kojiro's favorite sword "Nagako" is a long sword that is three feet and two inches long, and Kojiro's unique skill "Swallow Return". , is a move that can fully utilize the power of the long sword. However, even this kind of Kojiro was defeated by Miyamoto Musashi's sword without even using "Yan Hui". , unable to take advantage of the length of his sword, because Musashi specially made a wooden sword before the duel. The length of the sword is four feet and two inches, which is a full foot longer than Kojiro's "Changguang".
Because Kojiro did not pass on the unique skill "Swallow Return" to his disciples before the duel, this move has been lost since then. Perhaps it can be understood from one of Ukyo's special moves "Secret Sword Swallow Return" in "Samurai Shodown". A little bit of Kojiro's "Yan Hui" style (I don't know if it can really draw a firebird...)
It doesn't matter who puts forward the challenge between Musashi and Kojiro. . When two famous swords meet, they will eventually collide with dazzling sparks; the competition between samurai is an important part of samurai training, and even the master cannot interfere. The morning of April 13, the seventeenth year of Qingchang (1612). , Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro dueled in Kokura Funajima. Even Huangguchi knew what happened, so I won’t talk anymore, I just want to express my grievances for Kojiro here. To Miyamoto Musashi. It is undeniable that Musashi is an unprecedented master of the art of war. It should be said that in terms of swordsmanship alone, Musashi is not the best, but his comprehensive combat ability is indeed unparalleled. Originally, the so-called art of war combines swordsmanship, Musashi made his debut at the age of thirteen and has been on the battlefield for a long time. Not only has he defeated countless masters of swordsmanship, but he has also defeated Hohoin-ryu's spearmanship, Raso Gonnosuke's Shinto dream-style stick technique, and I. Hebindo's Suikama and even Matsuyama Chusui's Nikaido Pingfa Ninjutsu were already superior to Kojiro in terms of experience against enemies. After all, Musashi was 29 years old at the time, and Musashi was only 18 years old since his debut. Known for being ruthless in his attacks, he has been practicing the art of war in the name of practicing Arima Kihei since he was a thirteen-year-old swordsman. In Kyoto, he even killed Yoshioka Denshichiro, Matashichiro and other ten sects with his two-sword style. However, Kojiro was born into a wealthy family, and throughout his life, he only tried to harm anyone. Therefore, Musashi had the upper hand in terms of ruthlessness. There was another character who also affected the duel. As a result, the elder of the Hosokawa family and the son-in-law of Hosokawa Tadayaki, Nagaoka Sado Nokicho, had always been at odds with Kojiro, and was a good friend of Musashi in the novel. According to "Mu Yun Xiao Biography", it turns out that this person was Musashi's son in his early years. A disciple of his father Mujisai. He suggested the trial marriage between Musashi and Kojiro to his lord, Hosokawa Tadaki, and served as the arbitrator.
Therefore, before the competition, Musashi knew that Kojiro was using the famous three-foot-one-inch sword "Monoganakan" this time, and even what kind of clothes he was wearing. It can be said that he knew himself and the enemy; but Kojiro did not know what Musashi was using until he stood on the beach. When will the sword come, how can we be invincible! However, Sasaki Kojiro is extremely talented. He created a first-class reputation with a long sword and shocked Kitakyushu. His reputation is not in vain. If Musashi used the two-sword style to fight against the enemy, one two-sword style killed several people in Kyoto, and the routine was already known; Kojiro's technique of using a long sword to defeat a short sword is indeed unique, and the outcome is really unpredictable. Therefore, Musashi collected intelligence before the battle and carefully planned every step of the duel. There was no doubt that Kojiro was deceived. Kojiro's sword was three feet and one inch long, so Musashi abandoned the sword and sharpened a four-foot-long ship's hull to make a sword. It was both shameless and cowardly. A duel was agreed at eight o'clock in the morning. Out of respect for his opponent, Kojiro arrived at the scene early. But Musashi had to be late. The rules stipulated that if the opponent did not arrive at 10 o'clock before noon, he would be deemed to have abstained. Musashi had not arrived until after nine o'clock. It can be imagined that at this time, Kojiro was anxious and felt a sense of loss, thinking that he would win without a fight. But at nine-thirty, Musashi suddenly appeared. At this time, Kojiro naturally no longer had the calmness to face the enemy. If Musashi was born in modern times, he could really be a psychologist. Kojiro immediately drew his sword and threw it away from its sheath, ready to fight. But Musashi was still calm and said: "Kojiro, you lost! If you were the winner, how could you throw away the scabbard?" Kojiro was anxious and angry, but he did not refute the ship in Musashi's hand. There is a difference between a 29-year-old and an 18-year-old. At this point, Kojiro was no longer fit to fight, but he had an arrow on the string and had to fire it, eventually staining the golden beach with blood. The bystanders were furious and disdained Musashi's tactics. They swarmed up to avenge Kojiro, but Musashi had no choice but to flee the scene in a small boat. In response to Kojiro's death, the island was renamed Genryu Island. The most despicable thing is that before Kojiro's blood was dry, Musashi was subsequently introduced by Nagaoka Sado as the Hosokawa family's military guide. At that time, he vowed to "practice the art of war, travel the world with the sword, and never marry a wife or hold an official position." It has become a joke, and the motive for carefully planning the Zhoudao battle is also questionable. It is difficult to justify his explanation no matter how much he talks about it.
Unfortunately, Kojiro became a stepping stone for Musashi to become an official. The more despicable Musashi becomes, the more noble Kojiro becomes. Looking back, I feel fascinated by the graceful young man on the beach, dressed in rich clothes and standing with a sword. Woohoo, Mr. Kojiro, a genius, died young. It’s a pity, a pain, and a hateful thing! I write this article to express my respect.
Kojiro’s performance is deplorable, but Musashi’s two-sword style is really powerful, and the difference between victory and defeat is secondary. As a person, Musashi may be a bit insidious, but from this point of view, Kojiro can only be regarded as a The swordsman is a swordsman because he does not have enough training and takes personal sword fighting too seriously. Because of his status, he can ignore Musashi's challenge, so Musashi is a sword master and Kojiro is just a swordsman
< p>Don't judge a hero based on victory or defeat!Sasaki Kojiro never takes a life, he is really a top-notch swordsman.
Kojiro’s character does seem to be very good...never hurt others
