Gao Xingxin was born in Harbin, Heilongjiang, my country. She grew up in a well-off family, and her parents also invested a lot of resources in her studies. In the end, Gao Xingxin lived up to their expectations and was admitted to the Department of Precision Instruments of Tsinghua University with excellent results in 1997. This department has a development history of about 80 years and is also one of Tsinghua University’s flagship majors.

After graduating from her undergraduate degree, she chose to stay at the school for graduate school, majoring in the Department of Electronic Engineering. After that, he went to the famous Stanford University in the United States for further study and continued his doctoral studies in the Department of Electronic Engineering. In 2005, the first test satellite of the Galileo system was successfully launched. A few months later, it was officially activated in early 2006. But who would have thought that within a few hours of being activated, a civilian signal would be captured by a person named Grace and several laboratory colleagues. Even a few weeks later, Grace completely figured out the underlying algorithm of the Galileo system by herself and published it.

Since then, all receiver companies around the world have used her code to track the signals of Galileo satellites. And this person named Grace is Gao Xingxin, who graduated from Tsinghua University in my country. Grace is the English name she gave when she went to Stanford to study for her PhD. She became famous in one fell swoop and attracted the attention of the US military in order to use her to decipher other satellite systems.

But no one thought that Gao Xingxin’s next target would be her motherland’s Beidou satellite system. At present, my country's Beidou satellite system has 35 orbiting satellites on the space side, including 5 geostationary orbiting satellites and 30 non-geostationary orbiting satellites. The one deciphered by Gao Xingxin was launched in 2007. Just like deciphering the Galileo satellite system, she started with civilian channels and deciphered three civilian frequencies.

After being trained by the motherland for many years, he actually deciphered his motherland's satellite system for other countries. In addition, his father was originally a national civil servant and was suspended from his job. However, fortunately, Gao Xingxin's deciphering of the Beidou system stopped here, and there was no greater breakthrough in the subsequent process.
