The Novice Problem of G54 Tool Setting in CNC Milling Machine

Novice requirements:

First of all, we should know the definition of machine tool mechanical coordinate system and workpiece coordinate system.

The mechanical coordinate system of a machine tool is fixed, such as the GPS navigation of a car, which is equivalent to the latitude and longitude of the earth, while the workpiece coordinate system set by G54 is equivalent to the reference point when you leave from one place to another in a certain city. Every place you go has its own latitude and longitude, but it is generally not used this way.

G54 is customized.

G54 is fixed for each adopted workpiece program, but it needs to be reset if another workpiece program is to be used after one workpiece program is completed. So it is different for different processing procedures.

The machine coordinate of G54 is the input value.

Tool setting method of NC milling machine;

There are two methods for tool alignment in Huazhong milling machine, 1 g92 x0 y0 z 10. This tool alignment method requires that the tool position be moved to (0,0, 10) before machining.

2, G54 knife.

This paper introduces a tool alignment method in X direction. When the tool moves to the right of the blank, a machine tool coordinate marked as x 1 appears on the screen.

Calculate x 1- tool radius-half of blank length =x2, input coordinate system g54, and input x(x2).

G92 instruction is used to establish the workpiece coordinate system, which is related to the current position of the tool.

The application format of this instruction is G92 X_Y_Z_, that is, the coordinate values of the current position of the tool in the workpiece coordinate system are (X_, Y_, Z_).

For example, G92 X0 Y0 Z0 indicates that the coordinate value of the current position of the tool in the workpiece coordinate system is (0,0,0), that is, the current position of the tool is the origin of the workpiece coordinate system.
