Brief introduction of spinosaurus

Spinosaurus, commonly referred to as Spinosaurus, is a famous giant carnivorous theropod dinosaur, which lived in the Cretaceous period from about1/kloc-0 to 93 million years ago, and distributed in Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia and Niger in northern Africa, as well as northeast Brazil in South America.

The fossil of Spinosaurus was first discovered in Egypt in 19 12 by German paleontologist Ernst Strom, and was described and named in 19 15.

Donald Henderson, a paleontologist at the Royal tyrael Museum, believes that Spinosaurus was top-heavy and could float quite well, but it is unlikely that this behemoth would sink and chase its prey underwater. A new study published in the journal Nature shows that Spinosaurus must be a good swimmer. Thanks to the discovery of various new bones at the end of 20 18, researchers have been able to reconstruct the tail of Spinosaurus, proving that it is a master swimmer and can manipulate and chase prey underwater.
