My parents peeked into my diary, what should I do?

Many children have had this experience when they were young, having their parents peek into their diaries. You are an amazing child because you can use a diary to record every detail of your life. This fully proves that you are looking at the world carefully and that you have an admirable sense of independence. But, have you ever thought about it? While you are building a world for yourself, you are also losing another world, which is the world of mutual understanding with your parents.

Many times, there is a generation gap between parents and children due to the large age difference. Later, parents will not understand their children's thoughts and behaviors, and even in their eyes, the children are rebellious. Almost every child mentioned diaries. They all said that their parents would secretly read their diaries, discuss the contents in the diaries with their class teacher, and even take pictures and send them to the class teacher. At the beginning, almost all of them chose to be patient. When they couldn't bear it anymore, they tried to communicate with their parents, but their parents would not really take their children's requests seriously.

The biggest factor in what parents do is that it is difficult for them to communicate calmly. And they care about you, but they don’t understand what you are thinking, so they take a peek at your diary. In fact, you might as well think about it from another angle. If you are a parent, wouldn’t you be very depressed when you see your child hiding in the house and writing a diary every day without telling yourself what’s on your mind? Therefore, you might as well be a "little trumpet" appropriately, talk to your parents about your troubles, life insights, interesting things in life, etc., and "spread the word" about your emotions.

In the eyes of parents, children's worries are like a joke. In the eyes of their parents, they are still those little children who have to tell their parents everything! Why has it become a stage where I don’t want to tell my parents anything? Therefore, parents will say on the surface: Okay, I will respect you, but in their hearts they are still thinking: This little guy knows what privacy is. So the children's efforts to communicate well do not bring them the respect they deserve!
