What are the main misunderstandings in novice writing? Mr. Hong Dan summed up the following four misunderstandings based on his writing experience in these years:

Lack of confidence in writing, afraid to try.

Pay too much attention to other people's comments and give up writing.

It is believed that writing depends only on inspiration and does not pay attention to accumulating materials at any time.

For a novice writer, the first obstacle encountered on the way to writing is not a question of writing skills, but a question of confidence in whether he can write.

Many novice writers mistakenly think that they have no talent for writing because of their lack of confidence in writing, and even dare not try to write. Therefore, before starting writing, the first thing to be solved is the problem of writing confidence.

How to solve the problem of writing confidence? We can try the following two methods.

First, I believe in my heart that I can learn to write.

There is a term in psychology called "self-testifying prophecy", which means that people will unconsciously act according to the known prophecy and eventually make it happen.

Many things we are afraid of, what we are afraid of, are imaginary, not facts. In order to overcome these fears, we must face them squarely.

For example, if you are afraid of being judged by others, you can invite others to judge. Send your articles to 5- 10 friends to read, and see if they will laugh at your articles or give you bad reviews.

When you really try this, you will find that there are not so many people laughing at you at all, and your fear of other people's comments is imaginary. Another reality is that most people are too busy to laugh at you.

Second, respond to the ridicule of others with continuous actions.

What if someone really laughs at your article? At this time, you need to calculate the benefits of continuing writing and the losses caused by giving up writing. If we give up writing because of the ridicule of others, after three years, you will not grow up, but you will only live in a daze, except that you are a little older. It is not worth the loss to give up what you love because of other people's comments.

The way we respond to others' ridicule should not be to give up action, but to continue to act and prove ourselves with achievements.

If you are not afraid of being laughed at and continue to write, after three years of practice, your writing ability will be greatly improved, and writing will bring you many benefits, such as payment income, personal brand and influence.

When you start practicing writing, don't care too much about other people's opinions, and don't give up writing because of other people's comments. Without perfect works, even articles written by famous writers will be praised and criticized. It is the most important thing to keep writing.

I don't want to spend time and energy to succeed quickly, which is why many people don't want to write. Imagine that if you start writing today, you can write a good article tomorrow. If you have been writing for a week and your reading is still relatively low, you want to give up writing. To learn any skill, you should be patient and believe in the power of time. If you dabble in it every time, it is not easy to achieve anything in any field.

It's like a person digging a well, giving up after several times without seeing water, and digging in another place is the same. As a result, he dug more than a dozen holes and found no water. The well digger chose a place to dig deep until the water was dug out. Choose a field, go deeper and deeper, and through the accumulation of time, there will be results.

The faster you think, the more time you waste. It is better to invest time and energy to master a skill and become an expert. Without a skill, you can't catch many opportunities if you want to.

Third, search for materials through search engines at any time.

If you can't find suitable material for writing a topic, search directly with a search engine.
