(Original) Northeastern and Shandong people in my eyes

My colleague Lao Ruan is from Liaoning in Northeast China. He is outgoing by nature, loves to talk, laugh, drink and play cards, and has a carefree temper. Within a month of joining the company, I became very familiar with everyone in our workshop.

Once we were drinking and chatting together, and we talked about Shandong people and Northeastern people.

Lao Ruan said that compared to people from Shandong, people from the Northeast are not as good at living. He lives a very free and unrestrained life, and he is the kind of person who is drunk now and drunk the next. They all know how to enjoy themselves, eat well and wear well, but they don’t have much savings.

Shandong people are different, hardworking and frugal. Save money to give your children a wife, buy a house and a car. Take care of your son and take care of your grandson, just like an old cow until he dies.

People from Shandong are not as good at talking as people from Northeast China. When they chat, they all tell stories. We could talk all over the world for days and nights. But our Shandong men are taller than them.

Shandong people are a bit clumsy in comparison, but they are very practical and loyal. As long as you are sure that you are a friend, you will never be mean, and you can help your friends at critical moments.

Shandong is a country of etiquette, and etiquette is important in everything. Take drinking as an example. You have to toast each other, and even the seats are divided into older and younger ones.

Northeastern people don’t have that much etiquette. They eat meat from a big bowl and drink from a big bowl. They drank wine, patted their shoulders and called each other brothers. People who are no longer strangers become close friends after a drink.

Women in the Northeast have a high status, and men basically love their wives. Shandong people are very face-conscious. Although they are afraid of their wives secretly, they still have to have some self-respect in front of outsiders.

People in Shandong are a little bit homesick, and most of them have built new houses at home. The courtyard is very clean inside and outside, and the house is very well decorated. The furniture and tea sets are all complete and arranged in an orderly manner. Northeastern people go out more and dress better than Shandong people.

Northeastern people love to eat rice, and Shandong people love to eat steamed buns.

I heard that most of the people from Northeast China migrated there from Shandong. Therefore, they are very similar in terms of personality and height, and they are both top-notch in terms of combat ability.
