Strategy for the stand-alone game "Rise"

Mage's experience: I just used a mage to clear the level. According to the archive record, the clearance time is 40.5 hours. Considering the large number of S/L, it should be about 50 hours.

Passed level 29 and completed all tasks except the teleportation stone task and the camp conflict task.

I would like to summarize my own experience and suggestions for skill learning in the mage route for future reference. Everyone is welcome to discuss and make corrections. For the mage route, you can't learn magic in the early stage. It's the same for everyone. In order to save LP and learn magic, melee combat will be more difficult in the early stage. If the skill distribution is not good (I will talk about how to learn it better later), for example, in the early stage, you can learn some melee skills to make life easier. Then the medium-term magic is slow to form, and it will be more difficult; but once the magic is formed, the attack magic reaches a relatively high level, and skeletons can be summoned, it is much easier than the warrior type. The skeletons are restrained in the front and the fireballs blast from behind. It is basically OK. Fight most battles. If you want to become a mage, the key is to voluntarily join the monastery instead of being conscripted, so you must avoid going to the following places in the early stage:

1. The main entrance of Harbor City;

2. The monastery and In the farm below, there is a man named Stan guarding the outside. He will not arrest you, but if you see him, don’t go any further;

3. The monastery digging camp near the swamp;

4. When the wolf-killing mission was completed at the middle farm, someone came over and said that the Order man was coming to inspect. At this time, you must follow him to the barn and sleep until dawn.

Pay attention to these, and the path of mage will always be open to you! (Of course there is also the Path of Thieves...) In order to gain the most experience, it is initially recommended to complete all the Thief Quests and Harbor Quests before joining the Monastery. First, let Jan take the road to the swamp and Harbor City. Because the experience is shared, all nearby monsters will be attracted to him on the road for him to kill. He is very powerful. You can also lure the bog bodies at the entrance of the swamp cave, but forget about the ghoul inside, because they can run faster than you. In addition, don't mess with the people in the monastery near the swamp, since there are related tasks later. Then you can consider starting the Thief mission first. Of course, you can also go into Harbor City to do the missions and then come out after you have the key to the secret passage. However, the work clothes sold by thieves should be the best clothes in the early stage. Note that there are several places in the swamp where you can dig, and there are usually shovels nearby, so don’t miss them. If you find it difficult to complete the arena mission, you can go to Harbor City first.

After meeting the Don, Fincher next to you will give you a task to lead the thieves to massacre the monastery camp. Here is the opportunity to earn experience. Kill all the monsters near the swamp! Note that the boys are not leaving at the farthest intersection to the west coast in the south. Don't get close to the Ogre on the mountain in the north, he will kill your boys instantly.

Fincher will then give you a task to explore the eastern temple. The monsters there are more powerful, so go to Harbor City first. Be careful to enter Harbor City through the back door. There are 7 camp-selected tasks in Harbor City. If you complete 4 of them, you can join the monastery, so you can choose to help the thieves 3 times. You can learn Stealing 2 by helping Delgado, and you can learn Lockpicking 2 by helping Cid. Since I did the harbor mission first, I'm not sure if Swamp can learn level 2 of these skills. You can get two pieces of blackmail information by helping Weasel, which is of little use. There doesn't seem to be any benefit in helping Toni. Helping Lukor and Romanov will get you a little more money (around 100-200). You can get a lot more money (about 400) by selling the golden bowl to Scordo.

Before choosing a camp (helping 4 times), go to Scordo to get the key to the secret passage. If you know how to steal, just steal it. If you don’t, just flatten him, but he is more powerful. Then go out and complete all the rogue missions that you didn't do before. After helping Order 4 times, Carlos will ask you to go, give him the key to the secret passage, arrest Scordo, get a letter of recommendation, and then you can go to the monastery. If you want to be a mage, be sure to tell Pollas that you want to be a Mage when you first enter. If you have completed all the tasks of Thieves and Harbor before, you should be at level 10 or above when entering the monastery. The tasks in the monastery will be very easy. Here are some suggestions for skill learning: First, work skills: Open Lock level 2 is a must, and learn it as early as possible. It is an important source of initial economy, and you can also unlock many good things (such as the harbor alchemist box) of strength +5 potion).

At level 3, you have to learn it from Patty in Chapter 2 anyway. In Chapter 2, you can get the unlocking rune (from the Gnome next to Gyrger in the Eastern Peninsula), or you don't have to learn it. However, before you get the lock-picking rune, you will encounter at least a dozen level 3 boxes during the exploration process. If you don't want to write them down one by one and get into trouble later, you might as well learn it.

Pick Pocket can improve the initial financial constraints to a certain extent, mainly because many things that require money to buy for tasks can be stolen directly. In addition, you can steal the secret passage key from Scordo. But since you won’t be short of money after you survive the early stage, it doesn’t matter if you don’t learn. If you want to learn, learn it as early as possible, otherwise it will be useless if you do it too late. The monastery camp seems to only be able to learn level 2.

It is recommended to learn Sneak, and learn it as early as possible (in fact, this is the first skill I learned). Used to steal things at night, or to sneak attack sleeping monsters. Although there is a ring, there are many better ones. Of course, you can wear it temporarily when you want to use it, but it is too troublesome.

It is recommended to learn Acrobatics. So far, only Chapter 2 Patty has been found to be teachable. In the later stage, there are still many opportunities to jump from high places. Although there is a ring, it is the same as sneaking.

Alchemy is a must-learn and must be completed at level 3. Potions that add attributes are so important. There are about 20 Hero's Crowns in the entire game, which is equivalent to 100 LP points. However, you can wait until you buy the advanced formula in Chapter 2 before learning it, because in Chapter 1, only the formula that adds agility is easy to get (a box in the monastery), and it is useless for mages.

You don’t need to learn skinning (Gut Animal), it’s not worth the money.

It is recommended to learn Mining (Prospect). The mage will still encounter many situations that require melee combat, especially before the skeleton brother can be recruited. For mages with the weakest armor, they basically have to hold a shield to be safe, so they can only use one-handed swords (you can also practice axe-wielding to level 6, but it is too wasteful, and there are no good axes before Chapter 4) ). The best one-handed sword in the entire game seems to be the obsidian sword you made yourself. It is quite difficult to get 8 pieces of obsidian just by picking it up. In addition, gold nuggets and gemstones obtained from mining are also materials for making rings.

It is recommended to learn level 2 of Smithing. The rings with +20 magic value and +8 physical defense made at level 2 are quite good. The rings picked up before the mid-term are basically +10 magic value and + 5 physical defense is not as good as a ring that can be made by oneself in the early stage. I didn't even see any decent rings in the entire game, and the ones I picked up later were of the same quality as those I made. You can only learn 10 magic points with 10 LP, so it is quite worth it to replace them with these rings. There is no need to learn it at level 3. There are too many good two-handed swords in the game. The mage (not sure if there are other routes) can get a super powerful necklace (+20 physical defense + 10 magic defense) at the end of Chapter 2, and you can only wear one necklace, so the necklaces you make become garbage. So the job skills that should be learned are 15+5+5+15+5+10=55LP. If you learn to steal at level 2, it will be 65LP. Among rune magic, level 3 Conjure Skeleton is almost the most important magic for the mage. It relies on it to attract firepower and block the enemy at the intersection. With the mage blasting from behind, most battles can be avoided without injury. If you practice fireball, it can also have the effect of attracting enemies together to blast them. Therefore, level 3 of rune magic is a must. The runes for summoning skeletons can be found on the Skeleton King you want to kill in the Vassal Ring mission. He also has the Rune Shield, which is the best shield in the mid-term.

The only level 4 rune magic is Inferno. This magic is really terrible. The attack power is very low (about 1/3 of the level 10 fireball spell) and the mana cost is high (80 ), although it is a group attack, the area is not large. So there is no need to learn level 4 rune magic, just take the scroll and experience Inferno. After I finally topped up Wisdom to 200, I still picked up four or five stone slabs that I didn't use. If I only need to learn 150 of level 3 rune magic, it is still very easy to achieve. Several other magics worth mentioning:

Level 1 Light. Although it is inconspicuous, this magic is quite commonly used. In the later period, we often have to hang out in caves and underground temples. There is no light. I can't really see clearly. If you use a torch, you have to throw it away in battle, but there is no such problem with the lighting technique.

I got the runes directly when I was learning to copy scrolls.

Level 2 Berserker adds 50 points to attack. It is very useful in melee combat, especially when the attack magic has not yet been formed and the summoning skeleton rune cannot be used. The difference is moving. Chapter 2: Fly over the broken lava bridge at the far end of the underground hall of the Eastern Temple. There is a Lizardman Priest (it is still difficult to defeat because of the small space). You can pick up the runes behind it. Chapter 3 Master Cyrus also sells.

The level 2 Magic Shield has +20 defense. It is okay in the mid-term, but the defense in the later stage is meaningless. And it conflicts with the violent aura, so it's pretty useless. You can pick it up and forget where it is, or you can buy it from Master Cyrus.

Level 3 acceleration (Speed) allows you to run much faster than the enemy, making it easier to use long-range magic to hit and run at the same time. It’s also very useful when you’re on the road. For the runes, I only found that you can buy them from Master Cyrus in Chapter 3.

Level 3 Open Lock has been mentioned before. It saves you having to try it out left and right, it’s very convenient. You can get runes from a Gnome next to Gyrger on the eastern peninsula in Chapter 2, and Master Cyrus also sells them in Chapter 3.

Other magics include floating, deforming, and retrieving objects from the air. You can buy them in Chapter 1 of Runes. In fact, the scrolls you pick up are almost enough. For healing, there are many potions and they can be unlimited. Buy it, not much to say. The skill of copying scrolls seems to be required for the mission, so the total is 15+5=20LP. As a mage, you must choose one of the three attack magics to be fully trained (in the later stage, there will be a necklace with +2 for each magic, but as mentioned before, the mage has a necklace that is much better than this, so it is better to fully train it).

Fireball has the highest attack among the three. After reaching level 10, it takes 1 shot to kill Gnome including Chieftain and ordinary skeletons, and 2 shots to kill ordinary lizardmen, cows raised by lizardmen, and skeleton warriors (actually, except for cows, it takes exactly 2 shots, and the other two are all shot There is still a trace of blood left, you can take the skeleton brother up to kill), it takes 3 shots to kill the lizard warrior, scorpion, and giant turtle, 4 shots to kill the lizard elite warrior, lizard priest, and gorilla, and it takes 4 shots to kill the ogre. 5 rounds. In addition, the fireball also has splash damage, which is very useful when combined with the skeleton boy to draw enemies together. The disadvantage is that the launch interval is relatively long. In the later stage, it is a bit dangerous to kill multiple lizardmen at the same time. In most cases, it is not afraid when combined with acceleration magic. If it is in a small space, it will be more painful.

The ice arrow attack is in the middle, about 2/3 of the fireball. The higher the level, the higher level enemies can be frozen. However, there is no damage if you fire ice arrows after freezing. You can only use other attack methods. It feels unreasonable. I wonder if it is intentional design or a bug. So it mainly has a diversionary effect. After the skeleton boy appears, he has little use value.

Magic bullets have the lowest attack, less than half that of fireballs, and the total magic value required to achieve the same damage is also higher than that of fireballs. But the attack speed is very fast. If you like the feeling of shooting left and right, you can choose it, but I personally recommend Fireball. It takes 90 LP to fully master an attack magic***. This way it cost 55+290=165LP, which means there is still over 100 LP that can be used. The mana-increasing potions picked up in the game and the dialogue options for increasing mana when becoming a mage can add about 30 mana points. Because the number of Berry is limited, it cannot reach the number of Hero's Crowns * 10. The mana-adding potions you make yourself are about 10. -15, plus two rings that add 20 mana, and the initial 40 mana, you can accumulate more than 150 mana without spending any LP. Considering that magic bottles and magic are fixed values ??rather than percentages, these magic values ??are actually enough, except that they may be slightly less in the later stage when dealing with a large number of lizardmen. The remaining LP cost depends on your own preferences: 1. You can consider training another attack skill. Master the staff - to be a mage, you must look like a mage; master the ice arrow - it is good to use it as a diversion when necessary; master the bow - you can save some magic points. After completing the Eastern Peninsula mission in Chapter 2, that Hunter Henrik will give you a good bow; it is not recommended to fully train axes and crossbows, because there are no good weapons before Chapter 4; it is also not recommended to fully train fireballs and magic bullets at the same time, which is meaningless.

2. If you don’t pursue mastering another skill, then the skill allocation will be more flexible. In the early stage, you can consider adding about 10-20 points of strength, combined with eating apples (eating 10 will increase strength by 1, pay attention to collecting them in the early stage, but it seems that you can't increase it after adding 5 times) and drinking the potion stolen from the alchemist in Harbor City, you can use it. Most of the weapons are good in the early stage. You can also learn stealing and skinning to improve the initial economic situation. The remaining skill points can be used to increase the mana value above 200, making effective use of the Big Mana Bottle (+200 Mana). Or practice swordsmanship to the upper limit of mage level 7, so that melee combat will be more comfortable, etc. I think the optimal upgrade route should be:

First learn Lockpicking 2, Stealth, Mining, Blacksmithing 1, +5 Strength, ***30LP. With 50 apples and stolen strength potions, you can use the self-made Sharp Sword;

Then learn Blacksmithing 2, spend 5 LP, and make a +8 physical defense ring if you have the materials;

Then learn Alchemy 3 and spend 15 LP. Although it is of no use at the moment, you will have to learn it later anyway. Now I am saving LP. If you learn it first, you can make some life potions and the like.

It will cost you 5 LP to learn how to copy scrolls before entering the monastery, so save all the other LP. Pay attention to picking herbs regularly.

Go to Chapter 2, learn Lockpicking 3, spend 5 LP. Currently it costs 60LP per ***.

Go to Master Abrax to buy a potion formula with maximum magic power, and drink as much as you can. I can do it at any time when I have enough materials.

Next, it takes 90 LP to fully raise the fire ball, which means that at level 15, you can basically walk sideways.

If your wisdom reaches 150 before this (basically, you can reach nearly 100 after reading the books in the three camps, and the rest depends on picking up slates), give priority to learning level 3 rune magic, Skeleton Boy The role is very important. In addition, for herbs, most Hero's Crowns are used to make potions with maximum magic value, but because there are not enough Berry, there are still about 5 left. Those who want to use bows should use agility potions, and those who want to melee can use strength potions. , those who focus on magic should use life potions. The remaining unused Pixar Hat and Ogreroot are picked up and eaten.

Druid's Hamlok can increase the maximum life value by 1. I didn't find any relevant formula, so I just picked it up and ate it.

Each Wanderlust adds 10 experience points. Don’t rush to eat it now. You can unlock the red magic barrier later. You can find the relevant formula behind the barrier in the underground library. 5 Wanderlusts add 100 experience points, which is equivalent to doubling the amount. But in fact, the difference is only a few hundred experience points. I hope these insights can be helpful to everyone. Any questions are welcome to discuss. I wish everyone can find their own fun in rising. Thoughts: I won’t go into details on how to complete the tasks, there are many strategies. Here are some ideas for how to proceed with the game. First, go to the bandit camp and do all the tasks, as long as you don't go to the monastery. Then go to the harbor and complete 7 tasks. At least 4 of them are order-oriented, so that you can sneak into the monastery and become a mage. Those who were caught as strong men cannot be allowed to enter. In this way, you can enter and exit the bandit camp at will in the future. If you are caught at the beginning, you will lose a lot of tasks, experience, items, etc. By walking this way, you can do two tasks, including the task of meeting the monastery scroll master, which you can do twice, and you can also learn magic. After completing the bandit and harbor tasks and killing some monsters on the way, you can reach level 13 (you need to complete the tasks including visiting the closed temple in the east). First learn stealth, lockpicking 1, strength to 30, lockpicking 2, swordsmanship 9 or 10, mining, blacksmith 3, and strength as high as possible so that you can reach level 14 in the monastery and have enough strength to pick up a sharp two-handed sword. A two-handed sword + shield magician. Wow haha...

Combat skills: You can find kitchen knives and shields on the beach at the beginning. In the early stages of the fight, use defense and then attack. It is not recommended to dodge attacks. Sometimes it is not good if you cannot dodge. When fighting monsters, try to find two sets of combos that can kill them. Otherwise, try again later.

You can buy summoned skeletons in the mid-term. The skeletons can be used in the early stage, and you can attack from behind. In the later stage, you defend in front of the skeleton. After the skeleton attacks, you follow up and attack, and you can hit the enemy 99% of the time. Skeletons are very important when fighting lizardmen in the later stages, as they can greatly reduce the time spent fighting monsters.

Others:

1. You should bring a shovel and a pickaxe with you. They are needed for many tasks. You can also dig for treasures and so on.

Brooms can sweep the academy grounds, ladles can make soup, woks can grill, blacksmith and goldsmith hammers can craft things, and some tools can yield extra loot from dead animals.

2. There will be a certain delay in saving and reading during battle, so try to save in a safe place. Don't wait for the screen to light up and you are already lying down. To save, you must be facing the enemy and at a certain distance.

3. Sneak to steal things. If the opponent doesn't leave, you can draw your sword or sneak in front of him, and then you can lure him away and quickly run back to steal something. You can also simply put it directly behind the opponent and use the Joke Scroll. There are more of these scrolls in the later period.

4. To attack a defenseless monster, you can chop it down and move it quickly to the left, and then continue to chop it. Try not to use it when you are under siege.

5. Drinking water can replenish 15 HP at a time, and blood replenishment is free in the initial stage.

6. Don’t fight monsters in the corner (just get the monster stuck in the triangle). If you hit the corner, you will get stiff. But you can force the monster to the side and hit it. If your attack hits the monster, you will not be stiff when the monster is cushioning you.

7. You can only steal one thing at a time. When the time comes, the other person will fall out if you don’t steal. I don’t know where to learn level 3 stealing. Once you clear the level, you will find something you can steal in the future. Stealing at level 1 is basically unsuccessful. Level 2 requires 10 LP, which is unnecessary.

8. The bow can shoot switches and nooses, there is no need to use magic.

9. When learning skills, remove the equipment that increases abilities before learning them. Otherwise, you will have to charge more...

10. You can add blood, change bows and arrows, etc. while running.

11. When opening a lock, there are the same number of left and right keys.

12. In each chapter, more products are added in the store, more animals in the wild, and more boxes. But if you die, you will not be resurrected, so there is no problem of brushing.

13. The moans of the companions being beaten... are all men... (Maybe it's a problem with my game version...)

14. Smoking, shark fin, and whoring can increase experience. Eggs can increase experience, and eating 10 can increase strength by 1. Eating 10 apples can increase your strength by 1. But eating food can only increase strength by 5 per day.

15. Your skeleton companion will be full of health after S/L. After you teleport, it will go to the nearest teleport point and wait. After transforming, he will wait in place.

16. Useful foods: spices, potatoes, onions, wine, water, bread, fish, herbs. Can be further processed.

17. Useful items: wings, bones, shells. Others are optional.

18. Companions do not suffer accidental injuries, but neutral ones do. For example, if you drag a monster into the city and you accidentally hit a guard while killing the monster, the guard will knock you down. Companions enjoy experience, while neutral ones have no experience.

19. Strength +1 and melee attack +1 can teach up to 100, and can reach up to 200. Agility has a bonus to ranged abilities.

20. Practice the sword to 4 as soon as possible. You can use the right button to attack, which is fast. You can attack twice and click the left button once to hit hard. After level 5 with 4 hits, it is not very good. Therefore, it is already late when it is time to upgrade to level 5, in order to hold a broad sword with one hand and a two-handed sword.

21. Talk to people with names from time to time, and you may be able to get extra money and experience at some point. You can get experience by completing tasks, you can still get it by replying to tasks, and you can get experience by being a spy. Have more conversations.

22. Only the protagonist will fall into the trap. Your enemies and skeletons don't...but sometimes skeletons get stuck in traps. Of course, if you trigger the trap when you get close, your enemies and skeletons will also die.

23. Open the coffin far away, so that if something jumps out, you will not be late to prepare or startled. If you see the protagonist heading towards the coffin, cancel and run to the coffin.

The Heroic Crown is a relatively rare herb. I found it on about 2/3 of the map. Later, I became too depressed when playing the maze and couldn’t find it anymore: 1. The corner next to the first person outside the monastery door; 2. Under the monastery. 2 wild boars on the edge of the village; 3. 3 dwarves at the exit of the bandit camp; 4. Past the woods at the west exit of the harbor, at the seabirds on the roadside; 5. 2 beside the location of XX's son (the guy from the cursed ring quest). At the wild boar; 6. XX's son went south along the road, and there were 3 sword butterflies on the roadside; 7. At the green space under the monastery and at the riverside with wolves; 8. At the roadside leading to the mountain on the green space under the bandit camp; 9. On the way to the seaside in the upper left corner, next to the box; 10, next to the pirate scorpion; 11, to the north of the third green space under the tower; 12, to the wild boar on the road to the north of the lower right green space; 13, in the swamp under the monastery; 14, hunting mission, Go a few steps east where the hunter said to go north (actually, you can reach the same place as you go east, but you just need to fight an ogre); 15. Where you rent wolves, go towards the suspension bridge where there are 2 black wolves; 16. Next to the cemetery in the west of the monastery ; 17. There are two ogres at the source of the river in the upper right corner; 18. The wolf leads the way to the small bridge where the Druid is found; 19. The hole in the south where you get the cursed ring. I got about 20 of them, but I was too lazy to remember them later. It's not difficult to reach 200 strength. At that time, the blood level was 500 or 600, and the agility could be increased to over 150 by drinking potions.

24. How to make money: What to do if you don’t have money or experience, attack the old man in the bandit camp. Cut it over, get something, S/L, hand in the task, cut it down, S/L. This way the old man can get up directly without waiting for him to wake up. In the later stage, there will be about 90~100weed, and it is not difficult to achieve the 30W task
