Should the state introduce a policy to prohibit eating dog meat?

I don't think such a policy should be introduced, because it has too many representative meanings and does not conform to the actual situation of society.

In life, we always say that dogs are people's best friends, but in reality, eating dog meat never stops. This makes many dog lovers feel unacceptable. I hope that the state will issue a policy to prohibit eating dog meat, but I don't think this is realistic.
