Lin Hisajiro Nakamura incident.

1931At the beginning of June, Nobutaro Nakamura, a military spy of the Japanese General Staff, sneaked into Xing 'an Mountains for a military geographical survey. On June 26th, while passing through Taonan, Nakamura and others were arrested and secretly executed by Guan Yuheng, the 3rd regiment of Northeast Xing 'an Reclamation Army of Zhang Xueliang. The Japanese government and Japanese military departments took this incident to make strong protests and unreasonable demands to the China government, creating public opinion of aggression against China. This is the "Nakamura incident". Dong Ping Yuzhi, then deputy head of the 3rd Regiment of Reclamation, recalled what he knew as the "Nakamura Incident".

Because of its local importance, Xing 'an reclamation area has long been classified as a military restricted area.

My family is from Changchun, and my grandfather Dong is an old league member. 19 17. My grandfather went to Guangdong to attend the extraordinary meeting convened by Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and was sent back to the northeast by Dr. Sun Yat-sen as his liaison representative with Zhang.

Because of these relations, my father Dong Pingyu worked as a secretary in the negotiation department of Fengtian after graduating from 1923 Peking University. 1925 recommended by artillery commander Zou Zuohua, General Zhang Xueliang was sent to study in the Japanese NCO Military Academy, and graduated in 1929+00.

At that time, bandits were rampant in Daxinganling area and public security was very chaotic. In order to strengthen the garrison, develop the frontier and maintain social order, General Zhang Xueliang reorganized a part of it into a reclamation army, established Xing 'an reclamation area and appointed Zou Weiwei as the commander of the reclamation army. After his father returned to China, he served as the deputy division commander of the third reclamation regiment under the reclamation supervision office of Xing 'an District, and was stationed in the social government. Because of its local importance, Xing 'an reclamation area has long been classified as a military restricted area.

1930, when I was 7 years old, I lived with my mother in the 3rd regiment for several months. Guan Yuheng, then the military affairs director of Xing 'an Tunbu and the head of the third regiment, often came to our home. I called him Uncle Guan. He is a big man, dressed in military uniform and riding boots, and an officer from all walks of life. He likes me very much. He often holds my hand and asks me if I will be an officer when I grow up. He often picks me up and kisses my face, and stubble hurts me. I'm afraid to see him. Sometimes when I see him coming from a distance, I will avoid him. Uncle Guan is a dignified and amiable elder.

The third regiment was surrounded by desolation. The house in the regimental headquarters is short and small. There is only a long desk in the office, and there is a hand-cranked telephone hanging on the wall. This office is also used as a meeting room. What impressed me the most here is to eat sorghum rice, which has a lot of sand, and I dare not close my teeth when chewing. At that time, the situation was already tense because of the constant provocation of the Japanese aggressor troops. In less than half a year, my mother and I left that desolate place.

My father decided that Nakamura was a Japanese military spy.

Japanese imperialism has long tried to occupy northeast China. From 193 1, special agents and spies were sent to the fortresses in the northeast to spy on military and political information and prepare to launch a war of aggression. In May of that year, Nobutaro Nakamura, former chief of staff of the Japanese Army, was sent by Kenji Toshihara, the spy chief of Northeast Japan, to sneak into Xing 'an Reclamation Area in the name of investigating agriculture and steal our military information. )

On June 25th, 193 1, Uncle Guan led troops to patrol the defense zone and border defense, leaving Lu Hongxun, the battalion commander of 1, as the agent of the regiment.

Just after Uncle Guan patrolled for more than two hours, the guards saw a group of people taking pictures and mapping with horses near the regimental headquarters. When the guard thinks the behavior is suspicious, he reports to the officer on duty and takes the suspicious personnel to the regimental headquarters.

These suspicious people are Japanese military spies headed by Nobutaro Nakamura. Lu Hongxun interrogated Nakamura and others, but Nakamura could not speak Chinese. When Lu Hongxun saw him dressed as a Mongolian, he asked someone to interrogate him in Mongolian, but he didn't understand. Lu Hongxun suspected that he was Japanese, so he asked my father to interrogate him in Japanese.

When his father asked him what he did, Nakamura took out a business card with "Member of Tokyo Agricultural Society of Japan" printed on it, pretending to be a researcher sent by Tokyo Agricultural Society to investigate the soil quality and agricultural situation in Northeast China. My father didn't listen to him. Judging from the horses and decorations of Nakamura and others, he ordered the soldiers to search. As a result, pistols, many hand-painted maps of military restricted zones and investigation notes were found in their bags. My father read the investigation notes and learned that Nakamura's exact identity was "the intelligence officer and army captain of the intelligence department of the Japanese Imperial Staff Headquarters". The investigation notes also recorded the route, daily progress and details of the military restricted zone. According to these, my father decided that Nakamura was a Japanese military spy.

Uncle Guan pulled out his combat knife and stopped Nakamura's prestige.

The next day, Uncle Guan came back to personally interrogate Nakamura. Nakamura was too arrogant. He played down a peg or two and got into a fight with the officers and men. Uncle Guan pulled out his combat knife and stopped Nakamura's prestige. When ordered to sign the confession record, Nakamura tore up the confession again and wrestled with the officers and men. On the spot, the soldiers hit the head with the butt of a gun and fainted to the ground.

Uncle Guan asked for advice on how to deal with it. At that time, my father suggested that Nakamura be executed for military espionage. After careful consideration, Uncle Guan found that there was no doubt about the espionage crimes of Nakamura and others, which obviously violated China's sovereignty. However, in the era of "weak countries have no diplomacy", even if they make representations on this, Nakamura and others will inevitably get away with it. In view of this situation, Uncle Guan ordered the secret execution of Nakamura and others. So that night, Nakamura and others were taken to a remote place in the back hill and shot.

On the morning of June 27th, Uncle Guan took the guards to the office of Xing 'an Reclamation Area in Taonan Prefecture. He reported to the acting director the details of handling the military spy Nakamura and presented important criminal evidence. On the same day, the office of Xing 'an Reclamation Area reported this situation to General Zhang Xueliang who was in Beiping by express mail instead of electricity. General Zhang Xueliang was afraid that the Japanese army would take this opportunity to provoke, so he made the instruction of "properly destroying traces and keeping secrets".

According to General Zhang Xueliang's telegram, Uncle Guan implemented strict security measures in the army. Unfortunately, Uncle Guan's purser, Li Debao, could not resist the temptation and leaked the news of Nakamura's murder.

Afterwards, Lin Hisajiro, Consul General of the Japanese Consulate in Shenyang, met with Zang Shiyi, Governor of Fengtian, together with Moriku, the Army Chief of Staff, and claimed that the soldiers of the 3rd regiment of the Northeast Army killed Nakamura for murder. The Japanese Cabinet also specially discussed the "Nakamura incident" and threatened the China government.

On September 13, Rong Zhen, chief of staff of Northeast Army, secretly sent someone to pick up Uncle Guan and my father from Shenyang. Uncle Guan is guarded by the military police to prevent the Japanese from harming him. Subsequently, the Northeast Army publicly declared that Guan Yuheng, head of the 3rd Regiment of Reclamation, had been arrested and disposed of. Later, my father was also sent to the northeast Wujiang guild hall as an instructor.

As a matter of fact, Japan has been looking for an excuse for armed aggression against China for a long time, and the "Nakamura incident" is just a small reason for it to deliberately stir up trouble. A few days later, the Japanese Kwantung Army shelled Shenyang Beidaying. The September 18th Incident broke out!

The Japanese army has been chasing my father and Uncle Guan.

/kloc-On the night of September, 0/8, the Japanese army searched everywhere for Uncle Guan. Fortunately, the gendarmes watching him released him early. Uncle Guan and my father both ran out of Shenyang in disguise.

My father first worked as a staff officer in Jinzhou Northeast Chief's Office, and then transferred to Beiping Military Organization Committee. Later, my father came to Shanghai and was appointed as the director of Songpu police station, and changed his name to Dong Kunwu. Our family also lives in Shanghai.

Wang Jiazhen, then Vice Foreign Minister, told my father that the Japanese ambassador to Nanjing, Chuan Yue, was also looking for my father's whereabouts. This shows that the occupation of northeast China is a long-planned aggressive decision of the Japanese government.

At this time, Uncle Guan has been idle and has come to Shanghai to find my dad and live in our house. Because he knew me in Taonan, he was more cordial. He often holds my hand and asks me what lessons I have learned, whether I am homesick or not, and whether I hate Japanese devils. ...

At that time, Uncle Guan often said angrily to himself, lamenting why China was so weak and why the authorities refused to resist. He always lamented the sufferings of 30 million compatriots in Northeast China. He often talks to my father about the "Nakamura incident". From their conversation, I gradually learned the truth of the "Nakamura incident". My father also told me that occupying the Northeast and invading China has been a national policy of Japan for decades. The Nakamura incident is purely an excuse made in Japan.

/kloc-in the summer of 0/936, an acquaintance from Changchun came to Shanghai to do business and told my father that the Japanese offered a reward for the capture of Uncle Guan and his two men. 1 Lu Hongxun, the battalion commander of 3rd Battalion, has already joined the Puppet Manchukuo Army as the head of artillery. The Japanese army found out that he had arrested Nakamura, immediately locked him up and tortured him, and then took him to Taonan to dig out his heart and sacrifice it to Nakamura. The brutality of the Japanese invading army can be seen.

1937 Japanese troops captured Shanghai. My father works in Zhanshan Department in Ma Yulin. My mother took my brother and me back to my hometown in Changchun and spent eight years in fear.

The Prime Minister affectionately called Uncle Guan a "patriotic officer".

In the eight years of the Anti-Japanese War, Uncle Guan's position was only a quartermaster of an army. 1946 communist party peace talks. In order to rely on Uncle Guan's anti-Japanese reputation, the Kuomintang made him a representative of the military mediation executive department in Beiping, with the rank of colonel.

That year, our family moved to Beijing and my father returned to Beijing from northern Shaanxi. Uncle Guan often comes to our house to chat with my father. He is very concerned about my studies, saying that he will study abroad after graduating from college and come back to do good for the country.

After the founding of New China, the Party arranged for Uncle Guan to become a member of CPPCC and work in Ning 'an Anti-Japanese Memorial Hall. My father is also a member of CPPCC and a counselor in the provincial counselor's office. Uncle Guan comes to meetings and talks to my father every time.

1956, in order to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Incident, Premier Zhou met with representatives of the Northeast Army and the Northwest Army who participated in the Incident in Beijing. Uncle Guan and my father, as the parties to the "Nakamura incident", were also invited to participate. During the dinner, the Prime Minister affectionately called Uncle Guan a "patriotic officer" and a "patriotic Democrat". Uncle Guan was very excited at that time.

I worked as a doctor in the General Hospital of Beijing Military Region, and I didn't see Uncle Guan again until 1965. Later, I went to Portland to give lectures and met several elders. They often mention Uncle Guan and admire him very much.
