No scenery, no history. What cities in China are worth visiting just to eat?

In order to eat, these cities must come once in their lives!

There are many delicious foods in China. You have traveled all over the country, and wherever you go, there are delicious foods worth your lingering. Really, every city, every tiny place, has shiny food. Then, which cities are crowded with many delicious foods, so that you can taste them in different ways every day. It is no exaggeration to say that every day is the same for 365 days.

I think this problem seems a bit big. In fact, we have to sit down and talk, and 365 days seems to be endless. Then pick up the key points and share with you what I have eaten and liked.

List these cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi, Xiamen, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Nanjing, Urumqi, Suzhou, Chongqing and Shunde.

In no particular order, I won't eat for a while anyway, I'll think about it. You can buy foreign food at your doorstep, but you always feel something is missing. Or take it to the local area to taste the real taste.

1. When Beijing mentions Beijing, of course, roast duck ranks first. Besides roast duck, I also like instant-boiled mutton, shredded pork in Beijing, patched meat pie, pea yellow, snowballing, sesame paste biscuits, Zhajiang Noodles, poria cocos cakes, sugar-coated haws and the Great jiaozi in Beijing. Maybe you will joke that jiaozi is too ordinary.

I remember the first time I went to Beijing was 1979. At that time, I had to wait in line for a seat and asked for a small plate of jiaozi. Wow, it tastes really beautiful. I can't bear to ask for another plate. This is the best thing I have ever eaten.

The picture below shows my own roast duck.

Second, Shanghai Shanghai's food is the most to my liking, whether it's local local dishes or local specialty snacks.

For example, braised pork, shredded eel in oil, braised dried bamboo shoots, pickled vegetables, green vegetable wonton, raw-fried steamed bread, fresh meat moon cake, crab yellow steamed stuffed bun, fried rice cake, scallion noodles, salted soybean milk and so on.

I really have a soft spot for Shanghai's big wonton. I used to eat only small wonton in my hometown of Huainan. The first time I tasted it was in an alley in Shanghai. My grandmother served it in a casserole. This wonton is very big. In addition to wonton, there are vegetables, seaweed, egg skin and mustard tuber in the soup. It was really delicious, and then I learned to cook it myself. The picture below shows my own casserole wonton.

Third, Xi' an talked about Xi' an. In 1986, I went to Xi' an for the first time only for the Terracotta Warriors, and Xi' an didn't find anything delicious. All I know is that I want a bite of rice, but it's too hard to find. It's all pasta.

Later, I began to play with delicious food, especially Xi's snacks. The most famous snacks are the top ten. For me, I study blindly and watch many videos and recipes online. So far, I have done six kinds of what I have learned. They are paomo, Chinese hamburger, palace beef pie, meatball hot soup, biangbiang noodles and Zhen cake.

1. paomo

Xi 'an mutton bread in soup features thick and mellow materials, thick carrion soup, fat but not greasy, and full of fragrance.

When eating, you need to add sugar and garlic, spicy sauce, coriander and garlic sprouts. You should eat them in a planned way. This is called chewing, and you can't stir them, otherwise the aroma will be completely lost.

2. Chinese hamburger

A Chinese hamburger is a Baiji steamed bun made of bacon, which is crisp, soft and tough and full of wheat flavor. The meat is bright and ruddy, soft and mellow, which melts in the mouth and smells good.

3. Crispy beef patties

Xi 'an beef shortcake has three layers, the outer layer is a crispy shell, and the middle layer is a flexible thin dough with fresh, fragrant, smooth and tender beef and green onions. It is really delicious!

4. meatball hot soup

Shortcakes are best served with Hu spicy soup.

Meatball hot soup, also called beef ball stew soup. There are beef balls, potatoes, lotus roots, carrots, cauliflower and celery in the soup. This soup is made from the bones of cattle and sheep.

5. Cool height

Retort cakes are steamed with glutinous rice, red dates or candied dates and red kidney beans on iron retort. The color is fresh, soft and sweet. You can eat it cold or hot.

Picture Chinese hamburger and palace beef patties are all made by ourselves.

Fourth, Guangzhou For Guangzhou, what impressed me the most was morning tea, and the rest had no concept.

There are many delicious snacks in morning tea, each of which has its own characteristics.

Such as King of Shrimp Dumplings, rice rolls, Steamed Ribs with Douchi, Chicken Feet, Beef Veneer, Boiled Cabbage, Preserved Egg and Lean Porridge, Sashimi Porridge, Water Chestnut Cake, Spicy Cake, Liulian Crisp, Yangzhi Ganlu, etc.

The picture below shows my own shrimp dumpling king. See if it's okay.

5. Cities above Xiamen are municipalities directly under the Central Government or provincial capitals. Xiamen is not, but I feel that I know more about the food in Xiamen than the food in Huainan, my hometown. When I was in my hometown, I wanted to eat Huainan beef soup and bought it on the street. I never thought about cooking it myself, but I want to cook everything I eat in Xiamen, because I don't live in Xiamen, and I have to learn to cook it myself if I miss it.

I divide snacks in Xiamen into salty snacks and sweet snacks.

Salty ones include oyster omelet, barbecued pork buns, satay noodles, tide cakes, fried spiced, frozen bamboo shoots, salty jiaozi, taro jiaozi and taro paste.

There are Xiamen pie, glutinous rice paste, fried jujube, wooden comb cake, peanut soup, mung bean cake, rice cake, fruit and stone paste, four fruit soup, fried cake and so on.

I made the flower paste of the stone in the picture below.

In addition to the above five cities, there are Dongpo Meat and Longjing Shrimp in Hangzhou, Regan Noodles and Doupi in Wuhan, salted duck and duck blood soup in Nanjing, saute spicy chicken and baked buns in Urumqi, sweet and sour mandarin fish in Suzhou and hot pot in Chongqing. So I won't introduce them in detail. I feel that the article is a bit long, and each city can write at least 1000 words.

But I have to mention Shunde, which is the place I have always dreamed of going. It is said that this is the first city to eat delicious food, but unfortunately I haven't been there yet.

As the saying goes, "If you eat in Guangzhou, you can cook in Fengcheng". Shunde conquered the tricky diners with exquisite craftsmanship and purest taste.

Ok, that's all for today's sharing. Welcome to join the discussion. What other cities do you want to visit most, just for eating? In other words, in order to eat, these cities must come once in my life!
