"Mrs. Wang was sitting in the room, with an angry look on her face, and ignored Baoyu. Qingwen had not touched her teeth for four or five days, and was breathing weakly. Mrs. Wang ordered that only his clothes should be put away, and the rest of the good clothes should be left for the good girls to wear. "That night, Qingwen died tragically. Mrs. Wang had no mercy at all and ordered: "Send it outside immediately and incinerate it. My daughter must not be kept if she dies of tuberculosis!" (Chapter 78). From Jin Chuan's death to Qingwen's death, we can clearly see that Mrs. Wang has become more and more cruel and vicious. Her standards of "good girl" and "bad girl" are feudal ethics.
