Shazhou Diary|I looked for red traces and admired the ancient scenery in Shazhou Village

Rain on Monday, January 24th

Although it is a bit cold during this winter vacation, I tried to explore how Shazhou Village communicates with a playful spirit and a professional perspective. The strategy is to tell the red story of "half quilt" to attract tourists, and through what kind of rural construction to retain nostalgia and retain the hearts of tourists.

Coming out of the highway and entering the Half Quilt Scenic Area, you can see red slogans when you look up, making tourists gradually enter the "red state" before arriving at Shazhou Village. After entering the scenic spot, the first stop is the "Warmth Thematic Exhibition Hall of Half Quilt". The exhibition hall covers an area of ??1,200 square meters and is a two-story residential-style building in southern Hunan.

The exhibition format of the Exhibition Hall It is rich and diverse, not limited to pictures, texts, and object displays, but also includes projections, small theaters, and other forms, which shows the hard work of the builders.

This space displays the Long March history and red heritage of Shazhou Village at the intellectual level, and narrates the past history and today's development. Based on the "half quilt", a memory point of red culture, the builders unearthed the linear continuation of the red historical story of Shazhou Village, which not only realized political value, but also had historical and social value. Although there are still many tourists visiting the exhibition hall during the off-season and the epidemic, as the first stop for most tourists, this space unfolds the history of Shazhou Village before liberation and the new era, and the interweaving of red culture in the old and new eras. , allowing tourists to have a better understanding and expectation of on-site attractions such as the old site where the Half Quilt story took place.

Stroll all the way from the exhibition hall to the old site. On the left side of the road are farm restaurants and B&Bs, and on the right are farmland. When passing through the farmers’ concentrated residence, you can see neat buildings with local characteristics. The former ditch is preserved, and clear water flows at your feet.

Before arriving at the site where the Half Quilt story took place, in addition to passing through Yaojiale Farm and the villagers’ living area, you also have to pass through a commercial street that is closely integrated with the villagers’ area. Along the way, there are milk tea shops started by young people. , snack bars, and grocery stores run by elderly people. What makes people feel that it is quite different from other scenic spots is the style of the folk houses here. The arrangement of houses and roads still maintains the original simple shape,

but is modern and clean. The distance between residents and tourists is also reduced here. In the scenic area, tourists also have more opportunities to experience the local customs and customs up close.

The story of "Half Quilt" took place in a house in the neighborhood. Today, this house still retains its former appearance, with blue brick walls, stone thresholds, and old wooden doors... It is a typical rural residential structure. The bed that the Red Army and the old man Xu Jiexiu shared is now lying quietly in the old house.

Although Xu Jiexiu has passed away many years ago, her youngest son is still here, connecting the period of the Red Army’s Long March with the new era. This 80-year-old man was listening to red songs comfortably and chatting with tourists from time to time. The smell of ancient and modern inheritance permeated the air...

The old site where the Half Quilt story took place

Multiple scenic spots in this area connect and integrate residential areas, commercial areas, and the old sites where the story took place. They use red cultural tourism resources to connect the antique rural style and drive the surrounding economy. Residents' living infrastructure and rural ecological civilization construction also complement and promote each other with the excavation and construction of red culture.

This trip to the sandbank not only satisfied my curiosity, but also collected information needed for practical projects, and brought me many practical ideas, which can be said to be full of rewards!
