3. Use of emergency facilities

Use of emergency facilities: Three necessary conditions must be met for material combustion: combustibles, oxidants, and ignition sources. There are four corresponding fire extinguishing methods: isolation method, suffocation method, cooling method, and suppression method. No matter which method is used, it is to destroy the combustion conditions that have been generated and terminate the chain reaction. The fire extinguishing agent in the warehouse is mainly dry powder fire extinguisher.

3.1 Fire extinguishing with dry powder fire extinguishers:

Fire extinguishing mechanism: When dry powder fire extinguishers extinguish fires, their main function is suppression. The combustion reaction is a chain reaction. Under the action of high temperature, combustion absorbs activation energy and is activated, producing a large number of active groups. When a large amount of dry powder is sprayed into the flame in the form of mist, it can greatly absorb the active groups in the flame, reducing their number sharply. Interrupts the chain reaction of combustion, thereby extinguishing the flame.

How to use a dry powder fire extinguisher: When using a built-in dry powder fire extinguisher to extinguish a fire, first unplug the safety pin, aim the spray gun at the root of the flame, hold the handle, and then press the handle hard to open the valve and let the gas After filling into the cylinder, the dry powder will be sprayed out from the nozzle to extinguish the fire.

Maintenance of dry powder fire extinguishers: Dry powder fire extinguishers should be placed near the protected items, in a dry, ventilated and easily accessible place. Pay attention to prevent moisture and sunlight. The connections of the fire extinguisher must not be loose, and the nozzle plug cover must not fall off to ensure the sealing performance. Fire extinguishers should be inspected regularly according to the manufacturer's requirements and inspection cycles. If the fire extinguishing agent is found to be agglomerated or the gas storage bottle is insufficient, the fire extinguisher should be replaced in time. Fire extinguishers must be replaced once used. Fire extinguishers must be marked with the date of repair and the manufacturer of the repair.

3.2 Emergency facilities: oxygen breathing apparatus, fire extinguisher, fire hydrant, fire belt.

3.3 Emergency and escape: Be familiar with the surrounding environment and understand the path to the safe exit.

3.6 First aid for electric shock:

1. Pull the switch quickly to cut off the power supply.

2 If conditions do not allow, you can use an object with an insulated handle to cut off the wire.

3 If the wire is placed on the person who gets an electric shock, use an insulator to separate the wire.

4. If the person who gets an electric shock is conscious, he should be moved to a fresh and well-ventilated place, lie down comfortably, and closely observe his breathing and heart beat.
