How to write cursive script in general?

If you are practicing calligraphy, it doesn't matter how you write it. If you are a calligrapher, you usually write vertically from right to left, and some write horizontally. There are no rules.

Second, the beginning and the end echo, and the words keep the center line.

The first word (the first word) and the last word (the last word) in calligraphy works are slightly larger or heavier than other words. It is very important that the first word leads the text and the last word receives momentum. Words keep the center line, that is to say, the center position of each word should be on the center line of each grid, so that it can be horizontal and vertical, and the work can be more neat.

Third, the size is appropriate and the weight is moderate.

Every word in a work must have a certain size, weight and shape. You don't have to force the font to be exactly the same, but it can't be a "particularly prominent and extremely conspicuous" word in the whole article. Writing regular script should be of appropriate size, moderate weight and overall coordination.

Fourth, the font is consistent and the style is unified.

A work should unify the font structure and brush strokes to achieve overall coordination. Furthermore, we should have different shapes, different weights and different sizes. Especially in a work, we should pay attention to the shape changes of the same radicals and characters to avoid similarities.

Five, the characters are big and small, and the characters and seals set each other off.

In calligraphy works, the words inscribed are smaller than those in the text. Regular script works can be inscribed in regular script or running script, and if they are inscribed in running script, they can also be highlighted. A seal usually uses a name stamp or an opening stamp. The size of the famous seal is appropriate to the paragraph, which is generally slightly smaller than the paragraph, and the seal falls under the paragraph. If two faces are used, the position of one seal is empty between the seals. There are many forms of opening, but they can be big or small. Generally printed on the right side of the first letter of the text.
