What is the original text of "Red Rock Chapter 1"?
The monument commemorating the victory of the Anti-Japanese War is dark and hidden in the gray sea of ??fog. The mountain city at the confluence of the Yangtze River and Jialing River is shrouded in thick clouds and fog. This gloomy morning brought people into another year in a turbulent era.
In this abnormally prosperous urban area, even though the sky is so dark, the streets on New Year's Day are still crowded with pedestrians as usual.
"Sell newspapers, sell newspapers! "Joongang Daily"! "Peace Daily"..." The barefoot newsboy ran in the fog and shouted: "Look where China is going in 1948?...Look U.S. atomic military exercises, World War III is about to break out..."
As the newspaper was being sold, someone suddenly shouted: "Look at the order from the security headquarters! During the New Year period, it is forbidden to set off firecrackers and fireworks. , beware of fire alarm!"
In the endless sea of ??people, a young man who was walking in a hurry suddenly heard the cry of "Fire alarm!" When he turned around to look, the newsboy was gone. From the crowd came the gradually fading shouts: "Look at the news in this city. The public education staff are in their old age, the whole family took poison, and left a ten thousand-word death letter..."
This young man walking in a hurry , is Yu Xinjiang. Today, he was not wearing work clothes. Instead, his strong body was put on a clean blue tunic suit. Under his eyebrows, there is a pair of eyes that look straight at everything; he is only in his twenties, but his expression is extremely solemn, and he looks more capable and calm than a young man of the same age. After hearing the newsboy's shout, his brows furrowed slightly and he stepped even faster. The two long arms swung back and forth rapidly, and the sleeves rubbed against the skirt of the clothes, making a rhythmic sound. Whether it was because he was too hot or for convenience, he put the slightly longer cuffs on his arms, revealing a long dark wrist and big calloused hands.
Through the noisy streets, he repeatedly gave way to buses and cars spewing black smoke. This dilapidated diesel vehicle bumps and bumps, making a harsh noise, coupled with the hawkers selling American surplus supplies and the shouts of street stalls, the shouts of the hurried rickshaws and the noise of pedestrians on the street, Turning the festive streets into a pot of porridge rolling up and down.
Yu Xinjiang had something on his mind and walked hurriedly. However, the strange scenery all over the street kept breaking into his eyes. The high-rise buildings on both sides of the street, shopping malls, banks, restaurants, dance halls, employment agencies, and auction houses with abnormally prosperous business are all decorated with lights and decorations with large characters such as "Celebrate New Year's Day" and "Congratulations on the New Year." I don’t know which ingenious business took the lead. This year, a new trick that has never been seen in previous years has appeared: long ribbons made of brand-new ten-thousand-yuan bills have actually replaced the red and green colored silk, and appeared from the mist-filled high-rise buildings. The top hangs down. Some places even use newly released 100,000-dollar bills instead of 10,000-dollar bills, as if to welcome the upcoming introduction of million-dollar bills. Maybe the businessman calculated that banknotes are cheaper than red and green colored silk? Unfortunately, the paper and printing of the 100,000-yuan note are not bigger and better than those on the 10,000-yuan note. On the contrary, because its color is blurry, it is not as eye-catching as the 10,000-yuan note. Wherever the breeze passed, these colorful ribbons made of "legal currency" flew in the air and made a rustling sound. This strange sight does not seem to be taboo, so it is not officially prohibited like setting off firecrackers and fireworks.
Yu Xinjiang didn’t bother to look at more tricks, letting the big-character posters “New Year’s sale, regardless of money!” “Buy one, get one free, bear the pain and sacrifice!” tremble in the biting cold wind. . Who knows that before those posters were posted, a "0" was added to the price tags of almost all goods; and, behind those posters, who knows how many faces of people who are struggling and on the verge of bankruptcy are hidden?
A few long honks of car horns startled pedestrians on the street and dispersed a group of street children snatching cigarette butts. At this time, from the radio speaker on top of the memorial monument, a woman's vibrato was singing: "Good flowers don't always bloom, good times don't always last..."
Yu Xinjiang turned around inadvertently, and saw A white police car drove quickly through the middle of the street, followed closely by several streamlined cars that were also speeding. The car was hoisted with the Stars and Stripes flag and painted with conspicuous Chinese characters: "U.S. Information Service."
These cars, driven by heavily armed military and police vehicles, drove to the Victory Building to attend the New Year's reception held by the municipal government for the "allies". Yu Xinjiang looked coldly at the cars passing by quickly, as if he saw the Americans who often went to the arsenal through the car windows. At this time, he suddenly discovered that a large-character slogan was pasted on the raised butt of the last car: "Get out of China, Americans!" "Bah!" Yu Xinjiang shouted fiercely towards the place where the car ran over. He spat hard, then walked through the busy city and continued walking forward.
He calmly turned around a few streets, making sure that there was no "tail" following him, and then walked straight towards Dormitory No. 5 of Dachuan Bank. This is a residential area near the city center. The roadside is full of trees and it is very quiet. There are very few pedestrians on the streets during the New Year. He reached out and pressed the bell. After waiting for a while, the dark door slowly opened. A middle-aged man wearing a navy serge suit and a coat appeared at the door. When he saw Yu Xinjiang, he nodded slightly and let him in. Before closing the door, I habitually looked at the movement on the street.
It can be seen that this is a person who is used to living in a complex environment.
The small living room is carefully decorated and looks very neat. The small round table was covered with a tablecloth, and a bottle of blooming wintersweet was added, exhaling a delicate fragrance; some colorful New Year cards and a few plates of candies were added to embellish the New Year atmosphere. In addition to the original paintings, a scroll of horses painted by Xu Beihong was added to the single strip hanging on the wall. The red charcoal fire in the brazier drove away the cold air and made the whole room warm. This place was not as comfortable and free as the workers' simple shantytowns, but he didn't have too much resentment. The struggle is complicated. Underground workers under the white terror must protect the organization and themselves. If their work requires it, the owner of the apartment, Fuzhigao, can certainly use this lifestyle as a cover. Yu Xinjiang walked towards a new sofa near the window and told the owner:
"Lao Xu asked me to come to you."
"Yes, I saw the factory area on the other side last night There was a fire, and I was just thinking..." Fuzhigao hung up his coat and diligently made tea while talking. "Do you like Longjing or Xiangping?"
"Both are the same." Yu Xinjiang replied nonchalantly: "I'm used to drinking cold water." "No! When comrades come to my place, they must practice **, and they will be blessed together." Enjoy!"
Fuzhigao smiled and handed the tea bowl to the coffee table. He stared at the other person's sunken eyes and gently patted his shoulder: "Xiao Yu, you haven't slept all night, right? How did the fire start?"
Fuzhigao is the Shaci District Committee member of the underground party Member, responsible for economic work. His concern and eagerness to inquire about the situation in the factory made Yu Xinjiang feel extremely uncomfortable. Xiao Yu seemed to see the blazing fire again, burning in front of his eyes. The huts were engulfed in flames, and the raging flames reflected half of the sky red. He didn't answer for a while, but excitedly picked up the tea bowl and sipped it as if he was very thirsty.
"Don't worry!" Fuzhigao showed an air of confidence and said with relief: "The difficulties in workers' lives can always be solved. What does Lao Xu mean, how much money will it cost?" "
Fuzhigao paused and asked with concern: "Did you read the newspaper? It said that the workers accidentally caught fire!" He picked up a piece of "Central Daily News" and pointed to a small article. Title, and threw the newspaper away, "I see there is another article here! What do you think? Xiao Yu."
Yu Xinjiang's thick black eyebrows trembled, and he couldn't help but stood up suddenly and shouted loudly Fuzhigao said: "What kind of fire? The secret agents set the fire! I saw it with my own eyes." He remembered that when he rushed towards the fire, he encountered groups of people coming from the fire. Master Xiao, the branch secretary of the artillery factory, and many comrades were there. The two arsonists were escorted over with their bodies tied up. The workers had already recognized the two gangsters. They were spies from the factory's inspection office.
Yu Xinjiang looked at the white wall opposite as if he was glaring at a spy. After a while, he turned back and told Fuzhigao: "The two agents who set the fire were caught on the spot and confessed that they set the fire under the orders of the Second Branch of the Southwest Governor's Office!" "Second Branch?" Fuzhigao Startled.
"That's the military reunification spy organization!"
Yu Xinjiang, still furious, didn't pay attention to Fuzhigao's interruption. He took two steps forward, his tone full of decisive power: "You can run away, monk. We can’t escape from the temple. The enemy must pay for all the workers’ losses!”
He knew that before the fire, many ominous signs had already appeared in the branches of the Yangtze Ordnance Factory. First, a large number of military police entered the factory area and forced the workers to work overtime. Later, the shantytowns of the coal factory workers were included in the expansion of the factory, forcing the workers to demolish their houses and move. Now, the enemy's arson has made the struggle even more intense! Workers from various branches of the Yangtze Ordnance General Factory will gather at the artillery factory today. Although the factory personnel fled, the angry workers were determined to move the construction materials prepared by the factory for factory expansion to the burning site to rebuild the dormitories for the gun factory workers. The struggle will never stop without victory! Yu Xinjiang clenched his strong fist and hit the small round table hard, causing the wintersweet in the bottle to fall.
Fuzhigao was infected by his emotions and very excited. Although he rarely had the opportunity to participate in mass movements due to his work, he still understood the political situation very well.
"Yes. Chongqing's arms industry accounts for 80% of Chiang Kai-shek's total production capacity! He wants to be a good captain of the transportation brigade to supplement the huge consumption of American equipment. Of course he must capture Chongqing!" Zhigao's eyes flashed, showing a rare excitement. "Xiao Yu, do you still remember? Last spring, when Xinhua Daily ceased publication, Mr. Wu angrily asked the enemy: 'Look, opposite us is your arsenal. For several months, we have been rushing day and night. Making arms. What is this for? "The U.S. and Chiang Kai-shek reactionaries are desperate to expand arms production. This time, our party must lead the workers to fight to the end!" "We Chongqing workers cannot compromise our innocence. Hands on, become an accomplice of the reactionaries!" Yu Xinjiang said loudly. At this moment, he felt even more the significance of this struggle against demolition and factory expansion. "Lao Xu said that he decided to publicly expose the enemy's crime of arson and win support for justice from all sides; he also launched workers' donations in factories across the city to solve the living difficulties of artillery factory workers before the enemy compensated for the losses..." "Before the donations were received, At that time, I can try something first..." Fuzhigao interrupted Yu Xinjiang before he finished speaking. Yes, it is not easy to maintain the livelihood of hundreds of families of workers. Moreover, some of the underground party's economic expenses were originally within his scope of responsibility.
Yu Xinjiang nodded straightforwardly, stated the current required amount, and said: "Lao Xu said that the money you advanced will be returned from donations in the future."
"No. The problem is, this money can be given to you tomorrow." Although the financial sector has just passed and positions are tight, Fuzhigao did not emphasize the difficulties. Instead, he took the initiative: "If it is not enough, we can try to get more." p>
He looked at Yu Xinjiang's thick eyebrows and eyes, and persuaded: "Xiao Yu, you are too tired, rest for a while, eat before leaving." He looked at his watch and added: "My wife bought The food is gone and I will come back.”
He said that during the New Year, he specially asked the employed woman to go back to her hometown to reunite with her family. These days, he and his wife cook and eat by themselves.
Yu Xinjiang did not pay attention to the other party's concerns. He doesn't like to talk much, and he has a tendency to pay no attention to anything except work. Whenever something happens, he even forgets to eat. For this reason, his mother often complained that he should not waste his body. Lao Xu also criticized him. But this temper is not easy to change. But now, he was preoccupied with work, not to mention eating and sleeping. In fact, Lao Xu's temper is similar to his. This morning, after listening to Yu Xinjiang's report, he rushed to the factory without even eating breakfast; he was assigned a lot of work when we parted. "There is one more thing." Yu Xinjiang suddenly looked at Fuzhigao and said, "Lao Xu wants to set up a backup liaison station in the Shaci area."
This idea came about with the workers' movement in various factories in the Shaci area. developed from. But Lao Xu didn't want the liaison station to be mixed up with other tasks of the Shaci District Committee he was in charge of, so he never decided who to hand over this task to.
Recalling Lao Xu's thoughtful expression at that time, after Yu Xinjiang explained his intention, he told Fuzhigao: "The liaison station must be separated from mass work, so I am going to leave it to you; Lao Xu wants to ask for your opinion."
"Sister Jiang is leaving soon. The district wants me to take charge of part of the student movement!" Fuzhigao smiled reservedly and said no more. He accepted the task without any embarrassment. No matter what he does, whether he does more work, it is now something that makes him happy. "The Shapingba area is a cultural district, so it would be appropriate to open a bookstore. The economic problem can also be solved easily. However, there are still a few shop assistants missing."
"Lao Xu has considered the staff of the liaison station."
p>"Who?"
"Chen Songlin." Yu Xinjiang introduced: "Comrade worker, my good friend."
"That's great!" Fuzhigao Asked: "When will he come?" "You know the situation in the factory...it will take a few days."
When he heard Yu Xinjiang say that Lao Xu had originally considered opening a bookstore, He smiled knowingly and became more excited. Yu Xinjiang also said that Lao Xu had warned that bookstores should be small, open in gray, and not sell progressive books... "Yes, yes! A few years ago, I set up a liaison station." Fuzhigao nodded and smiled, and then changed the subject Redirect: "Xiao Yu, have you read the latest issue of Advance Newspaper?" He took out a roll of pink typing paper from his pocket. Before Yu Xinjiang arrived, he was studying this paper carefully at home. The secret newspaper of the underground party. "The epoch-making document "The Current Situation and Our Tasks" written by ** is so inspiring! The Chinese revolution has reached a great turning point. The day of victory is approaching, and we underground party members are about to suffer hardships!" p>
Fuzhigao waved the "Advance Daily" in his hand and took out a piece of paper with dense handwriting on it, revealing his inner passion. "I have been thinking these past two days: How can we be worthy of the great era? We should make more contributions to the party in the mass movement and in the fierce struggle! When I think about the future, I feel that there are inexhaustible resources around me. Strength..."
As he was talking, the doorbell suddenly rang. He confidently told Yu Xinjiang: "She must have come back from shopping for groceries. Do you know that she has a good impression of you? She is a worker and can write poetry - she has read your short poems in Xinhua Daily...
Fuzhigao stopped Yu Xinjiang from standing up in a hurry and said firmly: "She wants to see you. She will cook some side dishes. You must like them. The weather is so cold, I can't let you have time." Working for the Party with a cold and hungry stomach!" After that, he enthusiastically pushed the piece of paper that he had shaken out from the Advance Newspaper into Yu Xinjiang's hand, explaining that he had read the ** document. I spent two all-nighters writing an article about my study experience. I was going to submit it to the underground party journal for publication. I asked Yu Xinjiang to take a look at it and make some comments. At this time, the doorbell rang again. Fuzhigao then put on his coat with a smile and stepped out of the living room.
On Shapingba Main Street, a new "Shaping Bookstore" opened.
This bookstore is still very small. It sells some ordinary books and magazines, and also buys and sells various old textbooks on consignment. Most of its customers are students from nearby universities and middle schools.
The clerk is a round-faced young man, ten years old, short, and very strong. He is Chen Songlin who was transferred from the repair shop. After leaving the factory, he never went back, and no one knew that he had become a store clerk. He was not used to this kind of work for the first time; he felt even more lonely after being separated from the fierce struggle in the factory. He was very concerned about the situation of the artillery factory, but he could not inquire about it, nor could he inquire casually. Unfortunately, this bookstore was just a backup liaison station, and Lao Xu had never been there once, so he always felt that he had done too little work for the party.
The bookstore is led by Fuzhigao, who still works as an accounting director in a bank and also works as a bookstore manager. Recently, he often comes to the bookstore to help Chen Songlin, who is new to business. His leadership was very concrete, rich in experience, and had many methods. He quickly won Chen Songlin's respect and trust in him.
Chen Songlin has no acquaintances here. Every Monday, when the bookstore is closed for vacation, he goes to the nearby Chongqing University. Fuzhigao asked him to send some publications published in Shanghai and Hong Kong to a student named Huawei. As a result, he and Huawei became friends who met every week.
Today is another holiday. Chen Songlin changed his clothes, rolled two copies of "The Masses" published in Hong Kong into tubes, wrapped them in newspapers, took them with him, locked the door of the store, and asked Chongqing University Go.
Leaving the main street of Shapingba and turning towards the intersection heading to Chongqing University, he saw the youth hall opposite Shaci Hospital, which was once again colorfully decorated, with two blue sky and white sun flags stuck on the door, one The red paper poster stated which professor was invited to give the lecture: "On the True Meaning of Reading to Save the Nation," and also stated that a movie would be screened after the meeting. Chen Songlin glanced at it and walked away.
On the road to the campus, the walls that were usually covered with posters for students selling clothes, books, etc. were now posted with many notices. Chen Songlin was surprised to find that these notices were actually calling on his classmates to raise donations for the artillery factory workers. The largest red paper notice read: "Extend a sympathetic hand to support the hungry and cold worker brothers!" A special newsletter was also published introducing the workers of the artillery factory of the Yangtze Ordnance General Factory because they refused to produce weapons for the civil war. And the process of demolishing houses to expand factories, and setting fire to houses by secret agents and gangsters. However, this notice was painted with reactionary slogans: "**** Red Medical College!" "Rumors!"
Another slogan was posted next to it: "Defend freedom of speech and oppose civil war! ”
There are also many tit-for-tat slogans nearby, showing the fierce struggle between different forces. The atmosphere was very different from the empty speeches on "truth" he had just encountered. He also saw some posters, but some were torn, and some were scrawled with dirty pens: "treacherous remarks," "insulting the president," and "undermining the government's prestige." What impressed Chen Songlin the most was a piece of "Comet News" with wet glue that had been torn apart, leaving only the masthead and half of the editorial. The editorial was titled: Protest against plots to expand civil war.
Chen Songlin heard Huawei say: Chongqing University, like other schools, is also preparing to support the workers who suffered from the fire. Who would have thought that this time, the school would be in full swing! Chen Songlin watched along the way with great excitement, and saw another eye-catching notice:
The Chongqing University Student Self-Government Association specially invited representatives of workers from the artillery factory of the Yangtze Ordnance General Factory to report the truth about the massacre at the artillery factory. Location: Student Commune Time : Monday at 9 a.m.
There is also a post just posted next to it: The Youth League Branch of Chongqing University invites Professor Hou Fang to give a lecture: On the true meaning of reading to save the country Location: Shapingba Youth Center Time: Monday At 8:30 in the morning (after the meeting, the Hollywood blockbuster: Lotus Out of Water was screened) "Bastard, he specializes in singing opposite roles!" Chen Songlin cursed angrily. It’s clear at first glance that the Sanqingtuan Youth League wants to use sexy movies to compete for the masses! Opposite scenes and double-battery cases have always been their favorite tricks!
There were also many miscellaneous posters, and a notice calling for food fees from the law school dining group was also sandwiched in the middle. Chen Songlin saw the threatening words "Expired and closed!" and continued to move forward. Walk.
At this moment, there were bursts of noise in the distance. Chen Songlin followed the sound and saw a group of students crowded at the door of the teaching office deep in the shade.
Groups of students are running from all directions, and some are even shouting: "Classmates! Classmates! Come to the discipline office quickly!..."
Chen Songlin Unconsciously, he quickened his pace and walked towards the dense crowd with more and more students. After all, he was not a student of Chongqing University, so he was not as anxious as others. Many students who came from behind asked each other what happened and ran in front of him. When he arrived, the dark crowd had already formed a wall in front of him, completely surrounding the training office. He seemed to see Huawei among the crowd, squeezing forward and disappearing in a blink of an eye. At the front, a clear voice was questioning: "...Is the safety of the students guaranteed? Please ask the dean!..." Chen Songlin felt that this female voice was very familiar, but for a moment he couldn't figure out who was speaking. The wall of people in front made the short Chen Songlin stand on tiptoes, but he still couldn't see anything, let alone the female student who was talking.
"Don't make a noise! ??Gathering a crowd to threaten is not allowed." A dry tone pretending to be calm came from the discipline office, cutting off the female student's question.
"Which one of you is the representative? Except for the representatives, everyone should be silent!"
"I am the department representative of the Faculty of Arts!" The female student's voice appeared again. "Which department? What's your student number? Name?"
The female student was not intimidated by the dean's questioning and answered clearly: "First-year Chinese Department, I, my name is Cheng Yao."
"Cheng Yao?" Chen Songlin was surprised. Isn't she the sister of the director of the repair shop? Chen Songlin used to see this girl often and knew that she was studying at Chongqing University. However, in his impression, she was just a smart and lively little girl who rarely raised her voice to speak. Now, she has become a student representative and can He bravely expressed his classmates' demands in public.
"She is the representative of our department, let her speak!"
"Shh--" There was a burst of boos from the crowd of saboteurs.
"Why are you shushing? Stand up and let everyone see your face!"
"Students, the thing is like this-" The noise was slightly suppressed, Cheng Yao was With the support of many classmates, he continued to speak. Her voice was crisper and calmer. "Last night, the School of Liberal Arts held a meeting of department representatives to discuss various proposals to support the workers who suffered in the artillery factory massacre. Secret agent student Wei Jibo——"
"Why slander good people?" someone in the crowd shouted loudly again Asked: "What evidence do you have?"
"It's either the military commander or the central commander! Who doesn't know that Wei Jibo!" Someone refuted loudly.
"No noise!" The cold voice of the dean came out of the room again. "Only representatives can speak. In a solemn institution, your speech must be fully based!" "Of course I have a basis!" Cheng Yao's voice became more intense. "The secret agent Wei Jibo tried to sabotage the meeting. After he failed, he was making a blacklist this morning and was caught on the spot by classmates in our department. Students, please see, this is the evidence, the blacklist he wrote with his own hands! There were also searches from him A secret order from the security headquarters!"
The college students were outraged. Suddenly, like an erupting volcano, it burned violently:
"No spies are allowed to run rampant. Where is Wei Jibo, pull him out!" This was a tall and thin student, wearing a blue cloth robe, standing Chen Songlin shouted angrily in front of him.
"Wei Jibo is in the dean's office, and we ask the school authorities to deal with it seriously! Students, please listen to me read this, this is a secret order given to him and a blacklist for him..."
"Public trial, public trial! Take his photo for everyone to see!" "Agree! Ask the Law Department to prepare for the public trial!"
"Students, don't be emotional, please Calm down, calm down! Our academic institution, the highest university in the southwest, can neither arrest people illegally nor have the right to judge..." The cold and anxious voice of the Dean of Students appeared again.
"Excuse me, Dean of Students, is blacklisting illegal or legal?"
"Dean of Students! What is emotional impulse?" It was the tall, thin student in the blue cloth robe again. Shouting, Chen Songlin was extremely excited when he saw his face flushed. "Students, this university will not allow spies to run rampant. We require the school authorities to be responsible for ensuring the safety of teachers and students in the school!"
"Agree! Agree!"
At this moment, Someone noticed that a figure quietly jumped out of the window behind the training office and ran away in a panic. Then there was a shout: "Wei Jibo ran away!"
"The training office let the spy go!"
The student crowd suddenly roared with rage.
"The spy can outrun the dean but not the dean. We ask the dean for someone!" "Hand over the spy! Hand over!" Chen Songlin couldn't help shouting along with the students. "Students, catch him!" the sharp voice shouted: "Hurry, chase him quickly!" The one shouting was the tall, thin student wearing a blue cloth robe. He rushed out from the crowd, lifted up his clothes angrily, and was the first to chase after him. Immediately, groups of students followed him. The tall and thin man in the blue cloth robe ran very fast, always leading, and getting closer and closer to the person being chased.
Oh, we have to catch that agent! Chen Songlin couldn't help but get excited and walked quickly towards the path taken by the pursuer.
Like the students present, he wanted to catch the agent.
The running agent turned around and ran deep into the woods. The tall and thin student who was far ahead was about to rush into the woods, but he staggered, lifted up his clothes and suddenly held his head in his hands, stopped, and fell to the ground as soon as his body went limp.
"What's going on?" Chen Songlin was surprised when he heard people shouting: "The agents are attacking!" "Students, go and save people!" After a closer look, there was indeed someone in the woods. The shadows moved, and then there was the sound of a car engine. A jeep rushed out from the depths of the trees, carrying the escaping agents and a few perpetrators. It circled the campus and quickly disappeared into the distance. This jeep arrived not long ago. Chen Songlin heard the sound of the car just now at the entrance of the training office. However, like those excited students, he did not notice the relationship between this car and the unfolding incident.
"The editor-in-chief of "Comet" was injured!" Someone nearby was answering someone else's inquiry: "We are third-year law students."
"Comet"? Chen Songlin thought quickly and then remembered that he had seen the progress poster that had been torn off by the bad guys when he first arrived. The tall and thin student wearing a blue cloth robe who was injured turned out to be the editor-in-chief of the Comet.
The injured man was rescued. His head was broken by a stone and his face was covered with blood. A group of people supported him and kept shouting: "Li Jigang, Li Jigang!" Huawei was also following them. In the bush, he didn't see Chen Songlin and hurriedly followed the excited crowd.
Many students once again gathered at the door of the Discipline Office, shouting loudly, asking the dean to come out and answer the question.
The angry Chen Songlin didn’t want to look at anything. He bypassed Songlin Slope and walked straight towards Huawei’s dormitory. He developed a strong affection and sympathy for the injured student named Li Jigang.
