In October 2019, Feicheng City was selected into the top 100 counties and cities for green development in the country in 2019, ranking 39th.

In March 2019, the Ministry of Water Resources announced the first list of counties (districts) that have met the standards for water-saving society construction, and Feicheng City was on the list.

In December 2017, the Ministry of Agriculture recognized Feicheng as one of the second batch of demonstration counties (cities, districts) in the country that took the lead in basically realizing the full mechanization of major crop production.

In February 2010, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development named Feicheng City a 2009 National Garden City.
