Where is the location of Cuanxia Village?

Zhaixia Village, Zhaitang Town, Mentougou District, Beijing, is located in the deep mountain valley of Xishan District, and renamed as Chuandixia Village. The village retains a relatively complete ancient architectural complex, which is located on the gentle slope on the north side and built by the mountain. The patchwork, clear lines, zigzagging paths paved with purple stones and bluestones have a Jiangnan style and a sense of paradise.

Because the village is built on the mountain, the houses in the village are small, the houses are relatively concentrated, the distance between households is small, and the houses are adjacent. In order to avoid neighborhood conflicts, many ingenious designs have been applied in the architectural design of villages. Waterways are designed at the edge of the back house of every household. When it rains, the rainwater flows back to the front yard and is discharged through the waterway in front of the door, so as not to wet the neighbor's wall. Cleverly avoided the neighborhood contradictions caused by natural conditions and created a harmonious atmosphere. There are also cat lanes and dog lanes in the yard. Tourists and cats and dogs live in peace and go their separate ways.

Kuanduoxia Village is adjacent to Lingshui Village, Malan Village, Yangjiayu Village, Yang Jiacun Village, Yanhekou Village, Yan he cheng Village, Xinxing Village, Xiangyangkou Village, Qinglongjian Village, Sangyu Village, Shuangshitou Village, Wanglongkou Village, Xihu Village and Xizhaitang Village.

On June 8, 2003, 10, Kuanduoxia Village was announced by the Ministry of Construction and National Cultural Heritage Administration as the first batch of famous Chinese historical and cultural villages.

20121217 In February, Cuandoxia village was included in the first batch of traditional villages in China.
