The annual average sunshine hours in Shifang are 1257 hours, accounting for 28% of the available sunshine hours, which has certain influence on the growth of sun-cured tobacco. However, according to years of experience, technical preventive measures such as early picking, low topping and less leaves were taken to accelerate the growth and maturity of tobacco leaves, which made up for this deficiency. Shifang sun-cured tobacco is mainly produced in Yunxi, Hexing, Lianglukou, Shuang Sheng, Lingjie and Hefeng. Most of them are sandy loam formed by new alluvial soil, which has good air permeability and PH value of about 6-7. It belongs to neutral and slightly acidic soil and is the most suitable area for cigar growth. Especially, the local soil is rich in potassium, which can greatly promote the root development of sun-cured tobacco and improve the quality of sun-cured tobacco.

Shifang cigars traditionally take Shifang sun-cured tobacco as the main raw material and belong to the common tobacco family of Solanaceae. According to the change of leaf shape, there are two types of local cigars: "Mao Yan" and "Liu Yan". Shifang sun-dried cigarettes taste very good. In this sense, although Cuba, Dominica, Honduras and Spain can produce quite good quality cigar leaves, even Cuban cigars do not have the unique sweetness and drunken taste of Shifang cigars. After long-term practice, Shifang people have explored a set of fertilization methods to ensure high quality and high yield of sun-cured tobacco. At present, Sichuan-Chongqing Zhongyan Great Wall Cigar Factory has invested heavily in building sun-cured tobacco planting bases, firmly occupying the advantages of core raw material resources. Manufacturing advantage

In 2007, Sichuan Yuzhong Great Wall Cigar Factory was established. Today, the Great Wall Cigar Factory, the largest cigar manufacturer in China, takes root in Shifang and produces a series of cigar products including "Great Wall Cigar, Lion Cigar and I-shaped Cigar". Since 2005, the sales of cigars have accounted for more than 80% of domestic cigars, leading the development of cigar industry in China. On July 2 1 2008, the groundbreaking ceremony of the ex situ technical transformation project of Great Wall Cigar Factory was held in Shifang. After the Great Wall cigar factory is completed and put into operation, it is estimated that the production capacity will reach 2 billion cigarettes and the annual tax profit will reach 700 million yuan, making it the largest cigar production base in Asia.

International advantages

16 In September 2008, Sichuan-Chongqing Zhongyan signed a technical cooperation agreement with AGIO, a world-renowned Dutch cigar company, and China introduced foreign equipment and cigar technology to build a sales network. It has also entered into a cooperation intention with Artadista, a subsidiary of Imperial Tobacco Group, to roll cigars by hand. AGIO, with a history of 106, is one of the world-famous cigar enterprises, mainly engaged in the production and sales of cigars and the manufacture of cigar production equipment. On February 23, 2009, as an important part of the overall development strategy, Sichuan-Chongqing Zhongyan became the only cigar manufacturing enterprise determined by the State Council to cooperate with foreign investors. On March 4th, 2009, Sichuan-Chongqing Zhongyan discussed cooperation with AGIO Company, and planned to cooperate in technology, raw material supply and sales to jointly build the largest cigar production base in China and even Asia in Shifang, Sichuan.

In addition, Sichuan-Chongqing Zhongyan is stepping up the corporatization reform of the Great Wall cigar factory. According to the cooperation intention agreed with hongta group, Great Wall Cigar Co., Ltd. was established with Sichuan-Chongqing Company as the holding company and hongta group as the shareholder, so as to form complementary advantages in capital, brand and market through asset ties. Sichuan Chongqing Zhongyan will also select an appropriate number of cigar dealers in 36 key cities across the country and establish a special distribution network. It can be seen that relying on geographical advantages, planting advantages, manufacturing advantages and international advantages, "Great Wall Cigar" has developed into a core strength through strong combination at home and abroad in 2009, so that people can truly understand the king's wind of "Great Wall Cigar".
