Xi Academy of Fine Arts is two universities. Xi Academy of Fine Arts is located in the world famous historical city Xi. It is one of the three professional fine arts colleges with doctoral degree authorization points in China, ranking third among the eight fine arts colleges in China. It is the only higher professional art school in northwest China and a provincial-level high-level university in Shaanxi Province.

The school, formerly known as the Second Branch of Northwest People's Art College, was moved from Linfen, Shanxi Province to Anxingguo Temple in July 1949, and was renamed the Art College of Northwest Military and Political University. 1960 was officially named Xi' an Academy of Fine Arts in May, and the whole college moved to Yanta District in June 1994. In 2007, it was rated as "excellent" in the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level by the Ministry of Education. 20 1 1 has been listed in the ranks of high-level university construction in Shaanxi province.

Xi 'an Academy of Fine Arts, founded in 1948, is the only advanced academy of fine arts in northwest China. Formerly known as Northwest Military and Political University Art School, the first president was Marshal He Long.

1July, 949, moved from Linfen, Shanxi Province to xingguo temple, the southern suburb of xi, and was renamed Northwest Art Institute.

1953 was renamed Northwest Academy of Fine Arts.

In 2007, it was rated as "excellent" in the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level by the Ministry of Education.
