Historical evolution of Qinshan nuclear power station

The first phase of the project was promoted by the nuclear industry ministries of People's Republic of China (PRC) and China. 1985 was started, and 199 12 was connected to the grid for the first time, becoming the only nuclear power unit in Chinese mainland at that time. After two years of trial operation, the unit was officially put into commercial operation.

Shortly after the completion of the first phase, Qinshan Nuclear Power Station started the construction of the second and third phases, and introduced foreign technical forces and domestic local government capital to participate in the construction. The second phase of the project is still independently designed, built and operated by China, with two 600,000-kilowatt generating units installed and pressurized water reactor technology. It was completed in 2004 and further expansion is planned.

In the third stage, the Chinese and Canadian governments cooperated to build two 700,000-kilowatt generator sets by using the heavy water reactor technology provided by Canada, which was completed in 2003.

Qinshan Nuclear Power Station has a total installed capacity of 2.9 million kilowatts and has become a large nuclear power base in China.

At present, there are two pumped storage power stations-Tianhuangping and Tongbai in Zhejiang Province where Qinshan Nuclear Power Station is located, which can provide supporting facilities for the safe and stable operation of nuclear power stations. Tianhuangping Pumped Storage Power Station is located in Anji County, Zhejiang Province, with six 300,000-kilowatt units and a total installed capacity of 6.5438+0.8 million kilowatts. Tongbai Pumped Storage Power Station is located in Tiantai County, Zhejiang Province, with four 300,000-kilowatt generating units installed, with a total installed capacity of1.20,000 kilowatts.
