First of all, before introducing the production line, let's talk about the basic situation of Geely Automobile Baoji production base. The total investment is 7.2 billion yuan, covering an area of 1344 mu, which can reach the annual production capacity of 200,000 vehicles. At present, most of Job and Job's Pro are produced in Baoji factory.

We all know that automobile production is carried out according to the four technological processes of stamping, welding, painting and final assembly, so this paper is also written according to this process.

Stamping workshop, Baoji factory stamping workshop has two automatic closed stamping lines. You can see the five-sequence stamping production line from Jinan No.2 Machine Tool. Because it is completely closed, the noise is effectively controlled, so you can still hear clearly next to him.

The picture above shows the steel plate cleaning oiler, which is mainly used to remove stains on the steel plate and reduce stamping defects.

Five-sequence stamping production line is mainly used for stamping body outer panels, commonly known as "four doors and two covers", four doors, engine cover and trunk cover.

Because it is a fully automatic production line, the stamping line can automatically complete the stamping of plates after the workers finish feeding, and the workers only need to carry out the final quality inspection. The whole process does not require too many workers.

At the factory site, we also saw molds with calibration accuracy in the trunk. As can be seen from the above, the stamped trunk lid can basically be buckled on this mold perfectly, and the workers will measure the gaps at every place on it to ensure that the gap width of the trunk is consistent.

In addition, beside the stamping line, I also saw the white glove PK kanban. This billboard is very interesting, because after all the stamping parts are finished, there will be some defects on it, and workers need to bring white gloves to check. Geely will drop the used white gloves. The role is to urge every employee to make a little progress every day.

The picture above shows the body panel after stamping. In fact, in addition to the five-sequence stamping production line of Jinan No.2 Machine Tool, there is also a set of four-sequence servo stamping production line in the factory, which is mainly used to produce body inner panels and pull up larger panels. The robots of ABB in Switzerland have improved the production efficiency.

The stamped body panels in the above picture are neatly stacked together, waiting for the next process, that is, the welding process.

To put it simply, the welding process is to combine many parts after stamping to form what we commonly call "white body", and the welding process is also highly automated.

Moreover, there are many welding processes. For example, Baoji factory has adaptive welding equipment from Bosch, Germany, which can save energy by about 30% compared with ordinary welding while ensuring welding effect.

Above we can see that the prototype of the chassis has been welded. Welding is more mechanized, but sometimes manual instructions are needed.

In addition, after the welding process is completed, the robot is used to glue the gap, which is firmer and more secret after welding.

After the welding is completed, the vehicle basically forms what we commonly call a "body in white". In the factory, we also saw the appearance of the white Geely Job Pro body. Because the car body is made of steel plates of different materials, different colors are used to distinguish different materials.

The red part is hot-formed steel plate, and the gray part is bidirectional high-strength cold chain steel plate. The yellow part is cold-rolled steel plate. The blue part is hot dip galvanized double phosphorus high strength steel plate. The black part is hot-dip galvanized ultra-low carbon steel plate. The white part is hot-dip galvanized ultra-low carbon steel plate.

Therefore, automobile panels are made of different materials.

The painting process is to paint the vehicle, but we didn't visit this process in the factory, because this process is also completely closed, and basically no one will participate. The vehicle finally entered the assembly line.

The electrophoretic paint used by Geely Job Pro adopts American PPG high-swimming transparent paint to ensure the anticorrosion performance. Paints and varnishes come from BASF in Germany and PPG in the United States to ensure bright colors.

The painting equipment, that is, the equipment shown above, comes from Dü rr, Germany.

We can also see the high automation of the assembly line. On the assembly line, we can see some cars running automatically. There are various parts on the car, which are convenient for workers to install directly and ensure zero error in various configurations.

The assembly line is basically to install the front and rear suspension powertrain, interior assembly and so on. So this production line has the largest number of workers.

And when workers install it, we can also find some details, that is, the front fender of the car body, including the front and rear. Covered with velvet. According to the factory staff, because workers will constantly enter and leave the vehicle during the assembly process, in order to avoid scratching the vehicle, the body cloth is covered.

After the vehicle is assembled, workers will remove the flannel wrapped in the front and back of the vehicle, so that the paint surface can be best protected.

The picture above shows a robot car that can automatically transport materials. This car will follow the tape on the floor.

The last assembled vehicle will enter the last working procedure. We can find that the exhaust pipe of the vehicle in the above picture is connected with a thick pipe. This is because the car will start with gasoline in this place, and the exhaust gas will be pumped away, which can ensure the cleanliness of the air in the factory.

In addition, Geely Automobile Baoji Factory has an automobile quality inspection room, which can sample the cars produced every day, because we all know that thousands of automobile parts are produced by assembly, and thousands of assembly parts are basically provided by suppliers, not produced by themselves, so Geely Automobile has to conduct spot checks on the cars produced every day, which is also impossible for other automobile manufacturers at present.

In addition, Geely Automobile has similar odor laboratories and indoor air laboratories, which can effectively detect the air quality inside the car and ensure the air safety inside the car.

Finally, the car will have a short road test. The process of road test basically simulates all kinds of bumps. The driver can perceive the integrity of the chassis, whether there is abnormal noise inside the suspended seat, and solve the problem when it is found. In addition, the factory can also simulate the emergency turning of the expressway, and check the working condition of the engine again, whether all kinds of electronic configurations are normal and whether the reversing image is normal.

This is probably the case with the hardware of Geely Automobile Baoji Factory, which gives people the impression that the factory has a large area, a very high degree of mechanization and a reasonable layout. The equipment is basically brand-new and the workers are very young.

As far as we know, there are about 1.800 employees in Geely Automobile Baoji Factory, among which there are not many front-line production employees, and all employees work together every day. Therefore, Geely Automobile is also trying to create a comfortable working environment for them.

Therefore, Geely Automobile established Geely Enterprise University in Baoji factory. This is something I have never seen before in other independent brand car factories.

Although it is called enterprise university, it is not a university course, but a place to improve the cultural quality of employees and let them rest. In this enterprise university, we can see many books, piano, chess, calligraphy and painting, which can be used to cultivate the sentiment of employees.

In addition to hard power, the success of enterprises also has soft power, and Geely Enterprise University is building the soft power of enterprises. In fact, through the factory visit, I also saw that Geely Automobile did a good job in details, such as the white glove PK kanban on the stamping line in the factory. Moreover, on the assembly line, the front and rear of the car are covered with flannel to protect the car paint. There is also the enterprise university I want to talk about here.

Geely Automobile regards its employees as family members, and all employees of Baoji Factory can come to the enterprise university to study and rest and cultivate their sentiments. At the same time, this enterprise university also has a task of training new employees. All new employees will come here to familiarize themselves with their work processes. Now the training is carried out in the simulation station, and you can officially take up your post after the training.

Geely Automobile believes that only when employees get enough study can they improve themselves, only when employees get enough rest can they work more seriously, and only in this way can they make a good car.
