DeRozan coming to the Spurs is not necessarily a bad thing. Under Pop's system, DeRozan may be happier than he was with the Raptors. Leonard may not be so happy in Toronto. No matter what decision he makes next summer, he must first play well this season with the Raptors and produce convincing data before he can go to the team he wants to go to next summer and get the ideal big contract.
