On August 10, 2020, a heavy rainstorm hit the Ya'an area. Zhongan Rescue Team and Blue Sky Rescue Team immediately organized personnel to be on duty and prepare for duty to be fully prepared to deal with sudden disasters.

At around 1 o'clock in the morning on the 11th, I learned that Lushan County was in emergency. Heavy rainstorms had caused road interruptions, and people were trapped and needed rescue help. Zhongan Rescue Team immediately went on duty jointly with Blue Sky Rescue Team. Under the leadership of Zhongan Rescue Team Yellow Team and Blue Sky Rescue Team Yin Team, they dispatched 5 rescue vehicles, 3 assault boats, 1 generator, 10 personnel and other rescue equipment. We were driving in Lushan County in the heavy rain. The road was filled with stagnant water and washed-out rocks. The road was difficult. One of the rescue vehicles was punctured by fallen stones and damaged its tires. We immediately adjusted the vehicle and continued moving forward. After arriving at the disaster area, we contacted After communication with relevant government departments, about 20 trapped people were transferred to the small place named Sanjiang Village in the Shunhe Group of Siyanzhou Village.

I returned to Yucheng District at about 9 a.m. on the 11th. On the way back, I received a call from Director Zhao of the Maritime Safety Administration and told me that a boat and a boatman were trapped in Yayu Village, Longxiang and we needed to rescue them!

At noon, we were notified by the Lushan Emergency Management Bureau that people were trapped in the large stone forest groups of Lehuo Village and Wangjia Village in Longmen Town and needed rescue. Zhongan Rescue Team and Blue Sky Rescue Team immediately launched emergency plans to rush to Lushan. County, two police teams dispatched 50 personnel, 12 vehicles and some rescue equipment. After arriving at the disaster area, the personnel were divided into two groups. The police jointly transferred trapped people to two places, and more than 60 people were transferred.

On the 12th and 13th, two rescue teams continued their search and rescue work for missing people in the Big Stone Forest Group of Wangjia Village, Longmen Town.
