The opportunity finally came. On the evening of November 17, 2004, at the invitation of a friend, I watched the military-industrial choir's performance at the Tianqiao Theater with excitement. The sweet singing shocked me and strengthened my determination. So I asked a friend to find out where our group’s activities were and who to contact. "Spring is coming, spring is coming...", accompanied by the beautiful Blue Danube music, I stepped into the rehearsal room of the "Harbin Military Industry Alumni Choir", and the first step of my long-cherished wish came true.

When the vocal director told me that I needed to "test for three months" to get used to each other, and then pass the exam to become a formal member, I decided to work hard to learn from the old members, actively participate in rehearsals, and strive to pass the exam smoothly. During the three months, everyone enthusiastically helped me, the vocal director patiently guided me, and the group leader also encouraged me. The most fortunate thing is that I came just in time to catch up with Teacher Zhong to teach everyone. I received a short but high-quality vocal education, and I was very honored to listen to the class from beginning to end. Since then, in every rehearsal conducted by conductor Yao, I have continued to learn and make progress, and enjoy the charm of choral art. On the afternoon of April 6, with conductor Yao saying "not bad", I finally let go of my worries that had been hanging around for more than four months. In this warm spring, following the footsteps of spring and enjoying the spring breeze that revives all things, I successfully joined the "Harbin Military Industry Alumni Choir" and became an official member. My long-standing wish finally came true.

I know very well that my musical knowledge is very poor. I have not received any music training before, so I usually sing very casually. I can sing any folk songs or popular songs as I like. But it won't work in the choir. Chorus requires everyone to make a sound. The voice must be erect and the breath must be matched with the singing. It is not the throat that exerts force, but the lower abdomen, chest and head cavity, etc. I only slowly understood and realized all this after joining the choir. During the three months of running in, I tried my best to change my singing style in the past. Of course, if you don't pay attention, a "horizontal, white sound" will appear in a certain syllable, a certain note, or a certain lyric. All of this needs continuous improvement. I feel that the students of Harbin Military Industry still have such a strong energy, a tenacity, a positive spirit, and a spirit of unwillingness to lag behind. They are so positive, serious and responsible no matter what they do. If you don't do it, it's enough. If you want to do it, do it well. From the moment I pinned the league emblem on my chest, everything in my eyes has undergone subtle changes unconsciously. I understand that today I am no longer an individual, but one of the vast number of Communist Youth League members. We have the same goal and we are a big group.

I am honored and at the same time feel confident in the growing team of *** Youth League members in our school. The members of the Puwai League are by no means just decorations, because every one of us has done real work to maintain the beauty of the campus. We are a team of volunteers, and the reason why the League absorbs us is Because we use our actions to show the ideals of an aspiring young man.
