II. Activity introduction:
College students' summer "going to the countryside" social practice is an effective carrier of quality education in colleges and universities. Social practice is also the best camp for college students to integrate theory with practice, and it is also a good window for college students to serve the society. This summer's social practice of "going to the countryside" should go deep into the science and technology popularization base to carry out activities such as promoting agriculture through science and technology, investigating the situation of the base, assisting the base to carry out farmers' training and science and technology popularization, helping to solve the practical problems and difficulties encountered by farmers in production, and promoting college students to be educated and develop their talents in social practice activities.
(1) Donation of books and stationery: In order to enrich the cultural life of local people, the Youth League Committee of our college, with the support of all parties, allocated special funds to collect various practical books and donated more than 2 books to villagers. In addition, the Youth League Committee of the Academy has also purchased all kinds of sporting goods and stationery to provide spiritual and cultural support to the villagers.
(2) Visit and research: The students went deep into the fields, went deep into the masses to investigate and study, and tried their best to send all kinds of scientific, medical and health, environmental protection and other related knowledge to every villager. In-depth understanding of the specific situation and objective problems of local agricultural development, and according to the existing problems, specific analysis and solutions are given.
3) Science, technology and health care publicity: Students actively play their theoretical knowledge to publicize and explain science, technology and health care knowledge to villagers and apply it to practice. In practice, they learn from local farmers with an open mind, practice boldly, gain true knowledge, grow their talents, exercise and grow in social practice serving the masses, and do their part for the development of socialist countryside. Implementing "contributing to society and serving the countryside" is not only a slogan, but also a practical action for volunteers.
(4) imparting network information knowledge In order to effectively help local villagers to further develop their advantages in agriculture and animal husbandry, students impart network information knowledge to villagers according to their professional knowledge. In order to make the publicity lecture more uniform and more extensive, the team members went door-to-door to inform farmers to attend the knowledge lecture at the scene, which was well received by the villagers.
Third, practical results
It is fundamental to pay attention to solving practical problems in the "three rural areas". Because the service target is the residents in the developing areas, we conducted a comprehensive investigation and understanding of the local rural economic situation during the activity, and gave some suggestions to local villagers to make use of their own advantages in agriculture and animal husbandry to develop and get rich, and gave some practical production experience to those farmers who have already developed well, which helped the production development of farmers' friends.
At the same time, the social practice activities of "going to the countryside" have honed the will of young college students, and also cultivated everyone's ability to apply theory and practice and the spirit of teamwork, thus achieving the goal of "serving the society and training talents" in the process of social practice and truly achieving "win-win".
Fourth, practice summary and experience
Through the social practice activities of "going to the countryside", the sense of mission and responsibility of college students has been enhanced. Selected articles of the report on students' social practice activities in going to the countryside 2
From September 9 to 29, 22, our tax class 2 organized 25 students in the class to form a "three-countryside" sailing service team and went to Doumen, Zhuhai to carry out the activities of sending culture to the countryside. Our activities of "going to the countryside" are mainly aimed at the residents and related staff in Bai Jiao Town and Doumen Town, Doumen District, Zhuhai City, and are carried out in the form of voluntary education, style, investigation and logistics development. No matter during or after the activity, we kept communicating with the local people, and each benefited.
First, the local situation
Doumen District, Zhuhai City, located at the southwest end of the Pearl River Delta, is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese in China. Zhong Ling, Doumen District, is beautiful, outstanding and rich in human and historical resources; It is adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, close to Zhuhai Airport, Zhuhai Port and Guangzhou-Zhuhai Light Rail with convenient transportation. Agriculture is mainly based on planting rice, sugarcane and aquaculture, and it is rich in southern beautiful fruits such as litchi, mango, banana, longan and pitaya. Industries include electronics, electrical appliances, textiles, food, building materials, sugar and other pillar industries. At present, Flextronics Group, Sumitomo Chemical and well-known domestic enterprises such as Tsingtao Brewery, Gree Group and Founder Technology have successively settled in Doumen District. Commerce and real estate are prosperous, and it is the commercial and residential center of Zhuhai West District. As for education, there are three schools in Doumen District, many of which are sparrow schools. Since 1998, we have vigorously implemented the integration of educational resources, adjusted the school layout through "thinning", and promoted the balanced development of basic education.
Up to now, 39 schools have been merged in the whole region. On this basis, the construction of standardized schools has achieved remarkable results. With the reform and opening up, the economy, politics and culture in Doumen District have developed better and better, and there are more and more migrant workers and vehicles, and the social composition has become complicated. However, with the strong attack of the government and the cooperation of the government and the people, the crime eradication operation has developed smoothly and the society is harmonious.
Second, the situation of "going to the countryside"
Our service team is divided into four groups: volunteer education group, propaganda group, investigation group and logistics group. We conducted voluntary education, sports competitions and cultural performances in Bai Jiao Town Central Primary School. The target of voluntary education was the fifth-grade students in this primary school. In Doumen Town, we carried out research on the protection of cultural relics in ancient streets. In the process of research, we distributed questionnaires and interviews, combined with local residents, local village committees and relevant government departments-the stationmaster of Doumen Town Cultural Station to understand and conduct in-depth investigation. The local folk customs are simple and the residents are hospitable, which makes us get a lot of help in the process of investigation and study, and also learns a lot about being a man and doing things.
before coming to the front of the bucket in a team, we are ready to set off by personally stepping on the spot, preparing in advance and discussing. Each team member writes a plan for going to the countryside, and the team leaders go to the Dongcheng Middle School in Bai Jiao Town where we will stay, the ancient street in Doumen Town and the market near the primary school where we will conduct research, pay attention to the distribution of streets and restaurants, and ask about food, traffic and social security in detail. We found that there are many migrant workers in the local area, and the busy sections are mainly concentrated on a wide road with many forks, which is more than ten minutes away from the primary school. When we first got there, we solved the problem of eating in the restaurant here. There is a ferry at the corner of the street at the end of this road that can cross the sea to Doumen Town by boat, which provides convenience for our investigation.
On the first day when we came to Doumen, after packing our dormitory and luggage, we collectively went to Bai Jiao Town Central Primary School to see the environment. We found that the classrooms in the primary school were recently equipped with computers. The screens were relatively large and could touch the screen, and they were independently set in the opposite corner of the front door of the classroom, leaving keyboards and mice on the teaching altar. After returning, we revised the lesson plans and plans according to the details observed in the primary school. Initially, teachers and class teachers who go back to primary school first will be divided into classes according to the list and get to know each other for future work. Then, the group came to the multimedia function room of the school to hold the opening ceremony of the summer camp, introduced the basic situation of our sailing service team simply but grandly, and announced the official start of the summer camp.
in the next three or four days, we were divided into three groups, those who had classes, those who bought vegetables and those who went out for research. As for me, I belong to the research group. We first took the ferry on foot, and then transferred to the ancient street of Doumen Town for field investigation. Along the way, we found that many people took the ferry to Doumen Town. Compared with Bai Jiao Town, Doumen Town we saw was much richer than the latter. Because our investigation time is daytime, only the owners or employees of some old shops in the ancient street, the residents of the older generation and the more enthusiastic passers-by can be investigated. For the older generation of mother-in-law, who can't read, they are also familiar with the ancient street, and our inquiry has aroused their memories of the history of the ancient street. They are all in favor of hearing that they are going to build a film and television city here, but they complain that the industrial factories nearby have polluted the water in farmland in recent years, and they are also worried that the establishment of the film and television city will disturb their peaceful life. After staying in the ancient street for a noon, the team leader and a team member visited the cadres of the village Committee together with the students of another class's research group to understand the recent situation of the ancient street, and the rest continued to send questionnaires. However, due to dialect and accent problems, we don't get much information from village Committee cadres. One day later, we came to Doumen Town Cultural Square. In an interview with the stationmaster of the cultural station, we talked about the recent government construction plan of the ancient street, and got a lot of audio-visual and text materials of the ancient street and a lot of suggestions on our research work. After coming out of Doumen Town Cultural Square, we spent the rest of our time visiting the South Gate and some nearby places of interest, making an investigation and looking for the connection with the ancient street.
After going out for investigation, we basically resumed the life of dividing troops into two ways every morning, walking to school and logistics to buy food. When I walk to school every morning, I find that the lanes are quiet, the streets are clean and tidy, and it is rare to throw garbage everywhere, and the phenomenon of "psoriasis" and painting on the walls is rare; In the evening, when we returned home, we looked at every house brightly lit, warm and quiet. But we have a voluntary education in Bai Jiao Town Central Primary School, and we have a voluntary education activity named "Summer Camp" for fifth-grade students. The courses mainly include interesting mathematics, the sound of music, movie appreciation, exploring the unknown and happy sports. Our courses are novel and interesting, and the students all show great interest. For example, happy sports can be divided into three forms: dance, basketball and playing games. Dance cultivates their sense of rhythm, but it also shows their vitality, while basketball and playing games cultivate their sense of unity and concentration. In order to test their sense of unity and competition, we held a fun sports meeting. At the end of our activities in the countryside, we held a cultural performance. Before that, our students worked hard to practice dancing and arrange programs every day, and the propaganda group and others worked hard to prepare activities. At the same time, the end of the cultural performance also represents the end of our activities in the countryside.
Third, the effect and significance
In schools, there are voluntary education and cultural and sports activities. As for voluntary education, we mainly divide it into two parts: indoor teaching, we pay attention to cultivating students' extracurricular interest, curiosity and imagination about foreign languages and testing their thinking and feedback ability; Outdoor teaching mainly cultivates their leadership, democratic thinking and sense of unity, friendship and mutual assistance. With the combination of indoor and outdoor teaching, students can use their brains more than before, study easily in new ways and be grateful. While teaching, we also learn patience and encourage others. With regard to style, the holding of the sports meeting and the preparation and performance of the cultural performance let the students learn the knowledge of preparation, learn to relax and express themselves boldly, and deeply understand the importance of unity.
in terms of research, after our visit and research, the older generation and street stall owners recalled the prosperity and joy of the old ancient streets, and they could not help sighing that the times had changed a lot, but they thought of cherishing the quiet life now. The village committee and relevant government departments also pay more attention to the protection of ancient streets.
In terms of logistics, several students in the logistics group buy food and cook while others help. Shopping carefully, getting familiar with the stall owners in the local market; Cookers and helpers cooperate with each other to cultivate a tacit understanding; Logistics work not only exercises our independent ability, but also consolidates our friendship.
IV. Shortcomings and Suggestions
In the process of going to the countryside, we have shortcomings in all aspects, but we are willing to point out and correct them. In terms of voluntary education, due to our lack of experience and immature classroom teaching skills, we may not explain some knowledge clearly or take care of the whole class when teaching. In terms of cultural and sports activities, some exciting projects were not carried out because of the rain on the day of the sports meeting; The cultural performance is also limited to the small venue and the large number of people, which makes the collective sign language program a bit stiff. In addition, in terms of research, due to dialect differences and our immature interview skills, it has brought difficulties to our research work. In addition, in terms of logistics, because it is the first time to organize students to go to the countryside on such a large scale, they lack experience and are more standardized.
In view of the above shortcomings, it is suggested that more preparations should be made before the voluntary education, more students should be taken care of in class, whether the weather and venue are suitable before the activities, more people should be encouraged in the work process, the work is not standardized and dogmatic, people from different dialects can work together, and all aspects of experience and conversation skills should be exercised.
after going to the countryside, we have gained a lot, and we know that it is not easy to carry out an activity. First, we have to compete and be screened by our superiors, and then we have to make preparations in advance, including writing plans and preparing materials. Then, during the activity, you must use your mind and sweat to strive for the complete success of this activity, or say no success or no regrets. We have learned to be honest and grateful. When a person leaves the brigade, he should make it clear where he is going and what he is doing. He should be confessed and not let people worry. Everyone works hard, the results are shared, and everyone should be grateful. We also learn to unite. When we go to school and go back from school, we all go back in groups. When we encounter disputes, we calmly help solve them together. Going to the countryside, let us learn a lot. In the days when we meet by fate, we have the most cherished friendship; In our warm and youthful years, we have the most sincere acquaintance. Even if we are separated now, my blessing will always be like a high and low wind chime, bringing you tinkling happiness! -Inscription
There is an Indian proverb that says, "All the intersections of rivers are sacred." The meeting between people is by no means accidental. Although I don't know what kind of fate I met with others, being kind to everyone who appeared in my life and thanking this fate, I believe this will be a good start.
