After years of hard work and painstaking management, Hanshan Temple has made remarkable achievements in temple restoration, Buddha statue restoration, cultural relics protection, jungle system restoration and Sangha talent training.

In August 2002, Elder Wukong was promoted to Hanshan Temple Master.
