Allowable value of municipal road settlement

Subgrade settlement value is calculated by soil compression system. For example, cfg treatment of soft soil foundation, settlement value can reach 20-30cm.

It is suggested to refer to the Design and Planning of Highway Subgrade (JTGD30), which is clearly stipulated in relevant chapters such as subgrade in soft soil area.

The allowable post-construction settlement standards for expressways and first-class highways are: adjacent abutments of embankments ≤0. 10m, culverts, box culverts and passages ≤0.20m, and general sections ≤ 0.30m; As a trunk highway, the allowable post-construction settlement standards of secondary highway are: adjacent abutment of embankment ≤0.20m, culvert, box culvert and passage ≤0.30m, and general section ≤ 0.50 m.
