When was the Xi World Expo held?

This is the third World Horticultural Exposition held in China. The Expo was held on April 28th, 1965 from +0 10 to1October 22nd178th in Chanba Ecological Zone, Xi City. The theme of the World Expo is "Heaven and Man in Chang 'an, Creative Nature-Harmony between City and Nature".

The emblem and mascot are named "Chang 'an Flower". The concept is "green leads fashion" and advocates "simplicity but not luxury, low carbon bid farewell to high consumption, return to nature, do not care about carving, and green life becomes the pursuit of fashion".

2011The main venue of the Xi 'an World Expo, Guangyuntan, is located on the Chanba River, which is called "Bashang" in history. It is one of the main ports in ancient China. During the Tianbao period of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty held a large-scale water transport exhibition and trade fair here, which showed the development of commerce and trade in the Tang Dynasty and the smooth flow of water transport, and created a precedent for the World Expo.

Guangyunmen is the main entrance of the Xi World Expo, which is located in the northeast of the park and spans 60 meters wide Expo Avenue. It can pass more than 20,000 people per hour during the peak period. The ramp composed of steps, waterscapes and square gardening flowers connects up and down, and integrates with Chang 'an Flower Valley, forming a strong shocking effect with its magnificent momentum.

As the starting point of the whole landscape park, the gate is permeated with plants, waterscape and other design elements that reflect the green gardening color. There is a plant veranda on the bridge, and green plants climb on it, which is vertically green and provides shade. The building structure is reinforced concrete structure, but the materials are decorated with natural wood and regional granite, and China elements are also cleverly interspersed among them.
