Does the business license need annual inspection?

The business license shall be inspected once a year, and the inspection time is generally from March/KLOC-0 to June 30th every year.

As the revised Company Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) was implemented on March 14, there is no need for annual inspection. The State Administration for Industry and Commerce said that according to the reform plan of registered capital registration system issued by the State Council, the "annual inspection of enterprises" system will be changed into the "annual report of enterprises" system.

Article 2 of the Regulations on the Administration of Registration of Industrial and Commercial Enterprises stipulates that the following production and business units (hereinafter referred to as industrial and commercial enterprises) in industry, transportation, construction, commerce, foreign trade, catering, service industry, tourism, handicrafts and repair industry shall be registered in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance:

(1) state-owned industrial and commercial enterprises.

(2) Cooperatives under collective ownership and other industrial and commercial enterprises;

(3) Joint ventures or joint ventures;

(4) Industrial and commercial enterprises owned by railways, civil aviation, post and telecommunications departments and other public utilities.

Other industrial and commercial enterprises that the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government think need to be registered.
