The film Shangganling is about a battle of volunteers against American imperialism on the Korean battlefield. In this battle, the eighth company has been fighting in the mountain tunnel for a month. Due to the blockade of the enemy, the troops were seriously short of water and the soldiers' lips were chapped. The team sent by the superior leader to deliver water, the players sacrificed one by one. Eight company soldiers had to go down the mountain to grab water in order to save their strength. However, as soon as the soldiers loaded the water, they were hit by stray bullets from the enemy.
