What does ranking second in the Fujian college entrance examination results mean?

Ranking 1 refers to your cultural score, and ranking 2 refers to your ranking including your sports score.

Ordinary colleges and universities select the best based on candidates’ scores, determined enrollment plans, and comprehensive evaluation of morality, intelligence, and physical fitness. [1] The college entrance examination is uniformly scheduled by the Ministry of Education, and the examination questions are ordered by the Ministry of Education Examination Center or provincial education examination institutes that implement independent propositions. The examination dates are June 7th and 8th each year (including June 9th and 10th in some areas).
