I. Nature of the examination The unified national examination for admission to ordinary colleges and universities is a selective examination for qualified high school graduates and candidates with equivalent academic abilities. Therefore, the college entrance examination should have high reliability, validity, necessary discrimination and appropriate difficulty.

II. Examination ability requirements

The Chinese language requirements for the college entrance examination test six abilities: memorization, understanding, analysis and synthesis, appreciation and evaluation, expression and application, and inquiry. These six abilities are expressed in six level.

A. Memorization refers to recognition and memory, which is the most basic level of Chinese language ability.

B. Comprehension refers to understanding and being able to give simple explanations, which is a higher level of ability based on memorization.

C. Analysis and synthesis refers to analysis and induction, which is a level of ability that is further improved on the basis of memorization and understanding.

E. Expression application refers to the application of Chinese knowledge and abilities. It is a level of ability developed in expression based on memorization, understanding, analysis and synthesis.

F. Exploration refers to exploring doubts and difficulties, making discoveries and innovations. It is a level of ability developed on the basis of memorization, understanding, analysis and synthesis.

There can be tests of different difficulty levels for the six ability levels A, B, C, D, E, and F.

Ⅲ.Examination content

According to the requirements of general colleges and universities for the cultural quality of freshmen, and in accordance with the "General High School Curriculum Plan (Experimental)" promulgated by the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Education in 2003. )" (Jiaoji [2003] No. 6) and "General High School Chinese Curriculum Standards (Experimental)" (first edition, April 2003, published by People's Education Press) determine the content of the Chinese subject examination.

IV. Exam format and paper structure

1. Answering method

Closed book, written test. The full score of the test paper is 150 points, and the test time is limited to 150 minutes.
