Brief introduction of wetland ecology:

Wetland ecosystem belongs to water ecosystem. Its biological community is composed of aquatic and terrestrial species, with active material circulation, energy flow, species migration and evolution, and high ecological diversity, species diversity and biological productivity.

The wetland area of China accounts for 10% of the world's wetland area, ranking first in Asia and fourth in the world. In China, wetlands are distributed from the cold temperate zone to the tropics, from the coast to the inland, and from the plains to the plateau mountains. There are often many types of wetlands in one area, and one type of wetland is often distributed in many areas.

Brief introduction of water environment:

Water environment refers to the spatial environment in which water is formed, distributed and transformed in nature. It refers to the sum of all kinds of natural factors and related social factors that can directly or indirectly affect human life and development in crowd space and around water bodies. Others refer to the relatively stable environment in which natural waters bounded by land are located.

On the earth's surface, the water area accounts for about 7 1% of the earth's surface area. Water consists of ocean water and land water, accounting for 97.28% and 2.72% of the total water respectively. The latter accounts for a small proportion of the whole, and the environment in the space is very complicated. Water is in a dynamic equilibrium state of continuous circulation on the earth.

The basic chemical composition and content of natural water reflect its original physical and chemical properties in different natural environmental cycles, which is the basic basis for studying the existence, migration and transformation of elements in water environment, environmental quality (or pollution degree) and water quality evaluation. Water environment is mainly composed of surface water environment and groundwater environment.

Surface water environment includes rivers, lakes, reservoirs, oceans, ponds, swamps and glaciers. The groundwater environment includes spring water, shallow groundwater and deep groundwater. Water environment is one of the basic elements of the environment, an important place for the survival and development of human society, and also the most seriously disturbed and destroyed area by human beings. The pollution and destruction of water environment has become one of the main environmental problems in the world today.
