How to guide students to read effectively in the classroom
The Chinese curriculum standards point out: "Students should be able to fully read, have an overall perception while reading, gain insights from reading, and develop skills while reading. The sense of language is influenced by emotion while reading. "Reading aloud is the most important characteristic of Chinese language. It is an indispensable link in Chinese teaching. Reading aloud is to read an article emotionally in clear and loud standard Mandarin. It is an activity that converts written language into audio language. Since ancient times, people have attached great importance to the use of reading aloud in learning and teaching. "If you are familiar with three hundred Tang poems, you can recite them even if you don't know how to compose them." This is a well-known saying. In the Tang Dynasty, Bai Juyi had already said that he could achieve great success only after he read a book until his mouth became sore. Zhu Xi, an educator and writer in the Southern Song Dynasty, also said: "Read a book a hundred times, and its meaning will become apparent." That is, if you are familiar with the book, there will be no need to explain it. , knowing the truth of its meaning. The role of Chinese reading aloud in teaching has long been proven by our ancestors. Without reading, students will not be able to familiarize themselves with, understand, and comprehend the text.
As a primary school Chinese teacher, although I have only a few years of teaching practice, I deeply understand that the purpose of primary school Chinese teaching is to guide students to correctly understand and use the language of the motherland, so that students have preliminary skills. The ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing, and reading aloud has always been the most commonly used method in primary school Chinese teaching. It can be seen that the role of reading aloud in primary school Chinese teaching is very important. I found that the current reading level of primary school students is low, and the phenomenon of singing and reading is relatively common. In the classroom, teachers are also providing various guidance, but most students still do not read well. The author believes that the reason is that the teacher is too simplistic when guiding reading and lacks a holistic grasp of the text. So how can we base ourselves on the whole, lead students to be mindful of the context, and effectively guide students to read aloud emotionally? The author has been engaged in teaching Chinese and Mandarin for a long time. I have made some explorations on how to teach students skills and improve the effect of reading aloud, and achieved some results. Let me talk about my own reading teaching practice and how to guide students to carry out effective reading in the classroom. Reading training:
1. Comprehensive reading and imitation
Primary school students are highly imitative and easily excited and excited. In teaching, I use vivid and colorful model reading to lead the way, allowing students to simulate entry and resonate with the author's emotions. For example, when I was teaching the article "Praise", when the little badger praised the little hedgehog, he said: "Your apples are so fragrant, I have never seen such good apples!" This is how I guided: read first and then ask questions. : "Children, do you smell the fragrance of apples?" The children said: "Yes." "Yes, the teacher made everyone seem to smell the fragrance of apples just by reading. It seems that reading is so good!" Can you read like me? Can you let the teacher smell the fragrance of apples?" With the teacher's inspiration and demonstration, the children can all rush to practice. The atmosphere reached a climax all of a sudden.
2. Read with a good tone and highlight the accents
There are many lively and interesting stories in the lower grades. These stories generally include dialogues and psychological narrations of the characters. However, it is these dialogues and narratives that can well reflect the characteristics of the characters. Therefore, I use these dialogues and psychological descriptions to guide students in reading aloud. For example, when studying the lesson "Sour and Sweet", I first asked students to analyze the characters' personality characteristics. The fox said that the grapes are sour because it has a selfish mentality that it cannot eat and does not want others to eat. However, the gullibility of the little rabbit and the little squirrel made them not want to try at all. The little monkey's activeness and cleverness are vividly reflected in words such as "can't wait". In this way, reading and performing based on the characteristics of the characters will make it more vivid and easier for children.
3. Grasp the speaking speed and intonation
The speed of speaking and the cadence of intonation directly affect the expression of emotions when reading aloud. Students can read the text aloud with appropriate speaking speed and intonation, which means that they have a certain depth of understanding of the text. Generally speaking, use a high tone when you are happy; use a low tone when you are sad, and speak faster when describing intense scenes; speak more slowly when describing natural things. During teaching, I will flexibly guide students to control the speed of speech and the ups and downs of intonation, so as to achieve the goal of reading the text emotionally.
4. Flexible forms, guided reading
In guiding reading, I often use various forms of reading, such as individual reading, group reading, boys reading, girls reading, competition reading , read by roles, etc.
Students are required to read carefully, read out the feelings, taste the charm, and evaluate in time after reading. Let students learn from others' strengths and make up for their own shortcomings, and then let them imitate reading, thereby improving their reading level. When teaching the lesson "From Now On", I used the form of performance reading. The students divided their roles to perform roles such as the lion king, the cute monkey, and the owl kangaroo. The students also matched their own appropriate actions, and each one was full of interest. , the reading effect can easily achieve the effect I am pursuing.
In today’s classrooms, emphasis is placed on taking students as the main body and reading aloud with different insights. However, if you do not master certain reading skills, it is impossible to read the text well. Instructing students to correctly understand and use the motherland language, enriching language accumulation, cultivating language sense, and developing thinking requires our Chinese teachers to pay special attention to the guidance of students' reading ability in teaching. It can be seen that cultivating students to love reading and be able to read is the key to Chinese language. A fulcrum and focus of teaching. Every literary work records the author's way of thinking, thoughts, feelings and spiritual temperament. Only when students' emotions resonate with the author's emotions, can they keenly capture the delicate taste of the article, understand the rich emotions contained in the article, and then fully grasp the ideological content of the article, is the highest state of reading activities.
