"Beijing Municipal Slogan and Promotional Materials Setting Regulations"

Article 10 The installation of slogans and promotional materials shall meet the following standards:

(5) Roadside Knife flag. The total height of roadside knife flags shall not exceed 2 meters. For a triangular knife flag, the length (height) of its vertical side does not exceed 0.5 meters, and the length (width) of its base does not exceed 0.5 meters; for a square knife flag, the length (height) of its vertical side does not exceed 0.7 meters, and the length (width) of its base does not exceed 0.5 meters. More than 0.5 meters. Knife flags should be set up around event venues and outside the main roads, auxiliary roads, and access roads.
