How to write a model essay on confession?

Legal analysis: Pleading guilty and leniency means that the criminal suspect and defendant voluntarily confess their crimes truthfully, and cases that have no objection to the alleged criminal facts, agree with the sentencing opinions of the procuratorial organs and sign written opinions can be treated leniently according to law. The format of the statement of confession and punishment is almost the same as that of the general commitment letter, including the main illegal subjects, illegal acts and related legal consequences. A written statement refers to a legal document signed by a defendant or a criminal suspect who confesses his criminal facts, admits his illegal acts, sincerely repents, and is willing to actively assume corresponding legal responsibilities. This legal document is equivalent to the letter of commitment and agreement between the plaintiff and the defendant.

Legal basis: Article 174th of the Criminal Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC). If a criminal suspect voluntarily pleads guilty and agrees to apply sentencing suggestions and procedures, he shall sign a statement of confession and punishment in the presence of a defender or a lawyer on duty.

If a criminal suspect pleads guilty and admits punishment in any of the following circumstances, there is no need to sign a confession statement:

(1) The criminal suspect is a mental patient who is blind, deaf, dumb or has not completely lost the ability to recognize or control his own behavior;

(two) the legal representative or defender of the juvenile criminal suspect has any objection to the juvenile's confession and punishment;

(3) Other circumstances in which it is not necessary to sign a confession and punishment statement.
