Scholars and university student representatives conduct discussions, integration and re-creation. Finally, based on the two mass application slogans, the final theme slogan-"StartHere" was refined and determined.

After the theme slogan was determined, the Universiade Executive Bureau successively tested its acceptance among college students, all walks of life and foreigners. Among them, Chinese and advertising professionals, cultural scholars, and college students all like this Chinese slogan. More than 90% of foreign experts also recognized the English slogan. At the same time, the Universiade Executive Bureau published the 10 outstanding slogans selected by experts on the official website of the Universiade and accepted public voting. "Start From Here" received the highest number of votes and was widely recognized by netizens.

Experts believe that this slogan has three characteristics. The slogan expresses the concept that "everything can start from Shenzhen" and marks the starting point value of Shenzhen as China's pioneer city in the process of globalization. It also marks the role of Shenzhen as a "test field" and "vanguard" in China's reform and opening up process. historical status.

At the same time, the slogan also continues the Universiade’s pursuit of continuous innovation in appraisal. In terms of expression, the slogan does not adopt the flat confrontational form of ordinary slogans. In addition, the slogan has good malleability, making it easy to expand and use in multiple occasions, such as the torch relay, opening and closing ceremonies, individual events, etc., and is widely inclusive. Experts believe that this slogan, as the advertising slogan of the Universiade, also conforms to the creative principles of advertising slogans.
