According to the Nuclear Safety Law of People's Republic of China (PRC)

Article 16 An operating unit of a nuclear facility shall, in accordance with the requirements of laws, administrative regulations and standards, establish a defense-in-depth system for nuclear facilities, effectively guard against threats caused by technical reasons, man-made reasons and natural disasters, and ensure the safety of nuclear facilities.

The operating units of nuclear facilities shall regularly evaluate the safety of nuclear facilities and accept the review by the nuclear safety supervision and administration department of the State Council.

Article 17 Units operating nuclear facilities and units providing equipment, projects and services to them shall establish and implement a quality assurance system to effectively ensure the quality of equipment, projects and services, and ensure that the performance of equipment meets the requirements of nuclear safety standards, and the projects and services meet the relevant requirements of nuclear safety.

Eighteenth nuclear facilities operating units should strictly control the radiation exposure, to ensure that the relevant personnel are protected from radiation exposure exceeding the dose limit prescribed by the state, and to ensure that the radiation exposure is kept at a reasonable, feasible and as low as possible.
