What is your impression of Henan Province? Henan is called Henan because most of the province is located south of the Yellow River. In ancient times, because the climate was suitable for producing elephants, Henan was shortened to "Yu".

This is why the gates of many shopping malls in Henan are not lions, but elephants. The logo of Henan TV station is also an image of an elephant.

According to the above records more than 2,000 years ago, the world was once called Kyushu, and Yuzhou was among the world, so Henan was called the Central Plains. In the past dynasties, as long as there was great chaos in the world, Henan was bound to become the leader. It is a place for chasing deer, so it is said that if you want to conquer the Central Plains, you can compete for deer in the Central Plains.

Henan has a long history and rich culture. Half of China’s eight ancient capitals are in Henan, such as the ancient capital of the Yin Shang Dynasty, the commercial capital of Anyang, Zhengzhou, Luoyang, the ancient capital of the 13th dynasty, and Kaifeng, the ancient capital of the 9th dynasty. Three of the four great inventions in ancient China, such as papermaking, gunpowder and the compass, were all located in Henan.

There are also more than 300 Chinese surnames in Henan, which is the birthplace of our Chinese surnames. There is also Lao Tzu, who is both Taoist and Taoist. The only way to relieve worries is that Dukang's Dukang wine is also in Henan.

There are also Peiligang Culture, Yangshao Culture, Longshan Culture, and Erlitou Culture thousands of years ago, all in Henan, so Henan is one of the birthplaces of our Chinese culture.

Henan is now also important for our country’s food supply. We also made outstanding contributions during the epidemic last year.

Henan is now an inland province. There is no coal that can be seen by digging three feet into the ground, and there is no oil that can be gushed out by drilling a well. It is not a central city or anything. It is a special economic zone, but it supports itself and contributes to the country. It relies only on that piece of yellow land and an excellent quality that has helped our Chinese nation inherit for thousands of years, called hard work. There are many around me. Students from Henan generally work very hard and are particularly able to endure hardships.
