The story behind it:

In Britain and Ireland, the original name of Snickers is Marathon, and it was not until 1990 that Snickers were changed to international trade names. Within 18 months before the name change, the words "internationally renowned Snickers" were printed on the product packaging.

After the name change, Snickers (formerly known as Marathon) rose from the ninth place to the third place in the British chocolate bar sales list. 20 16, 1 June, a German consumer ate the plastic fragments in Snickers chocolate and complained to Mars.

After investigation by Mars, it was found that the chocolate in question was traced back to the factory in feher, the Netherlands, and the plastic came from the protective sleeve used in the production process of the factory. Plastic fragments may cause suffocation, especially for children, if they are accidentally stuck in their throats.
