Civilization is the inherent charm of a city. It is also the foundation of happiness for a city. Currently, Xingyi City is striving to become the seventh national civilized city. After nine years of hard work, it has now reached the most critical moment. If you want to win this battle of mission, battle of honor, and battle of happiness, you are needed. With active participation and strong support, we hereby issue the following initiative:

Root civilization in the "heart". Strengthen the awareness of civilization and the consciousness of participating in the creation of a civilized city. Start from yourself, constantly cultivate yourself and self-discipline, consciously abide by the basic moral norms of citizens, develop good habits of respecting etiquette, being civilized, and observing public ethics, and shape the image of civilized citizens.

Civilization is reflected in the "mouth". Don’t spit anywhere, don’t speak dirty words, don’t smoke or make loud noises in public places; be friendly to outsiders, answer strangers’ inquiries patiently and enthusiastically; actively discourage all kinds of uncivilized behaviors around you, and be a communicator of civilization.

Protect civilization with "hands". Care for the city appearance, do not post graffiti, do not write graffiti, do not hang it up and dry it; maintain urban sanitation, do not litter, do not defecate anywhere; care for the public environment, do not damage public property, do not climb or step on flowers and plants Trees, no unauthorized construction; keep pets in a civilized manner and walk dogs on leashes.

Evaluation methods for national civilized cities

National civilized cities are mainly evaluated and selected based on the "National Civilized City Evaluation System" and the "National Evaluation System for the Ideological and Moral Construction of Minors". The evaluation of the ideological and moral construction of minors is used as a prerequisite for applying for a national civilized city. The evaluation results are sorted separately and calculated by percentage. Those with a score lower than 85 points cannot participate in the national civilized city application. At the same time, the score is based on A proportion of 20% is included in the total score of civilized cities across the country.

Evaluation methods: Mainly adopt six methods: report listening, material review, questionnaire survey, online survey, on-site inspection, and overall observation. The difficulty in creating a national civilized city is on-the-spot investigation. There are three specific methods for on-the-spot inspections of civilized cities across the country:

The first is real-situation (situation) simulation verification, such as calling the legal service hotline, calling the rights protection reporting hotline, etc.

The second is on-site investigation, that is, entering the site to verify whether the object being inspected meets the evaluation standards, such as going to the community to check relevant work records, etc.

The third is on-site observation, that is, according to the requirements of on-site observation, on-site observation of the object to be inspected is carried out at the on-site inspection point and within a certain period of time.
