Personal summary report on social practice in three rural areas in summer vacation

on the occasion of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the 9th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League and the 11th anniversary of the Communist Youth League, a group of 11 members of our team went to Shanyang County, Shangluo City for a 9-day on-the-spot investigation with the theme of "Harmonious Business Road, Red Mountain Love" and the research topic of "Influence of Highway Traffic Conditions on Industrial Economy in Underdeveloped Areas —— Taking Shanyang County of Shangluo City as an Example".

The activity of "going to the countryside" started in June and basically ended in September, which can be divided into three stages: pre-project planning, field research and post-thesis writing. This process is long and complicated, but I have benefited a lot from participating in every stage.

First, do a solid job in the preparatory work

In June, when the students were still quietly preparing for the final exam, the activity of "going to the countryside" kicked off in our school. In order to do a good job in the activities of "going to the countryside", in the early stage of project planning, our team consulted materials, determined topics, hired instructors, determined team members and wrote planning books in an orderly manner. 1. Collected the local economic, cultural and geographical information of Shanyang County, analyzed and compared the information, and preliminarily determined the research topic. 2, clear division of labor, set out to prepare their own matters. Make detailed activity schedule, activity route, etc., so as to be economical, safe, detailed and feasible. Make a feasible accommodation plan, and ensure that the participants have good living and working conditions while ensuring the normal activities. Budget the funds according to the planning situation. 3. Design and make a questionnaire, a questionnaire; Make slogans, flags, etc. required for publicity, and write publicity materials. At the same time, learn from the seniors and learn from their experience, and then improve the planning book, questionnaire and related work. On the basis of the rural questionnaire, a detailed departmental discussion outline was drawn up, which laid a solid foundation for the development of practical activities.

before we set out, we made clear the purpose and significance of "going to the countryside", which inspired our courage and morale, and also gave us a better understanding of the significance and activity direction of this trip. Combined with the project, we invited teachers to give guidance, and the professional guidance of the teachers made our direction clear. The success of the team project made our mood extremely excited.

on July 11th, the whole team participated in the flag-raising ceremony for the social practice activities of "going to the countryside" held by the school in the summer of XX. We were full of confidence and ready to go. Because the instructor had important work temporarily, he couldn't lead our team to Shanyang for on-the-spot investigation. Eleven of us left for our destination on the afternoon of 17th without a teacher.

Second, Shanyang's knowledge and investigation experience

On the evening of July 17th, we arrived in Shanyang with expectation and exploration, and started a nine-day investigation activity.

during the 9-day investigation in Shanyang, we had a discussion with the leaders of the Shanyang County Party Committee Office and seven county-level departments (Transportation Bureau, Urban Construction Bureau, Finance Bureau, Economic and Trade Bureau, China Merchants Bureau, Statistics Bureau and Development and Reform Bureau), visited the industrial concentration area in Shanyang County, the sewage treatment plant, the government site of Yuanjiagou Hubei-Shaanxi border Soviet Area and four enterprises, and conducted a household questionnaire survey in two villages. During the investigation, we received strong support from Shanyang County Party Committee Office, Organization Department and enterprises in township departments, which enabled our activities to be successfully completed. During the investigation, I have been the main questioner of the visit and the record of the whole process; Every night, our team will have a summary meeting in the form of discussion, summarizing the activities of the day, sorting out the input materials, and arranging the itinerary for the next day.

the next morning after we arrived in Shanyang, we first came to the Shanyang County Party Committee Office, met with the leaders of the County Party Committee Office and had a discussion. At the meeting, the leaders of Xianweiban briefly introduced the situation of Shanyang County, the county's economic and social development, the leading industries, the present situation of transportation infrastructure construction and the planning of xx transportation construction. After that, we put forward questions and doubts based on our professional knowledge, and the leaders at the meeting made a detailed analysis and explanation for us. The leaders of the county office believe that Shangman Expressway can improve the capacity of the original road network, promote the development of public undertakings such as transportation, health, education and tourism along the line, and improve the efficiency of resource allocation. The warm reception and cooperation of Shanyang County Committee Office made us feel the support of the local government for the "three rural areas" activities of college students in summer and the care for our college students, which also provided greater impetus for our activities.

in the afternoon, we visited the industrial cluster in Shanyang county, which is under construction-a comprehensive industrial park focusing on modern materials, green food and biomedicine. From the introduction of the director of the industrial park office, we learned about the construction of the park, the long-term planning and the basic situation of the enterprises to be stationed. The scene of the project construction in full swing makes me feel that the completion of the industrial concentration area in Shanyang County will make great contributions to the breakthrough development of Shanyang's industrial economy.

on the morning of July 19th, we visited the sewage treatment plant in Shanyang county, which was being put into trial operation, and got a detailed understanding of the main treatment steps and modern technology of domestic sewage. It's really glad you came.

on the afternoon of July 19th, a small group of 5 people went to the Economic and Trade Bureau, China Merchants Bureau and Statistics Bureau to learn more about the famous industrial enterprises in Shanyang, the investment funds in XX-XX and the statistical data of county economic development (gdp, total industrial output value, industrial added value, annual road freight volume, cargo turnover, etc.). Through the preliminary comparative analysis of the relevant data before and after the completion of Shangman Expressway, I deeply feel that as an underdeveloped area, Shanyang County, the opening of Shangman Expressway and the improvement of highway traffic conditions have created a good investment environment for the development of Shanyang's industrial economy, which has significantly promoted the development of Shanyang's industrial economy.

on the third day, we took a bus to visit the vanadium mine enterprise in Yinhua town, and then went to two villages in groups to conduct household questionnaires. Through the visit, we know that the mining industry accounts for a large proportion in the industrial economy of Shanyang County. However, due to the influence of the international climate, the market price of vanadium continues to be depressed, and the production cost is higher than the product sales price, which leads to the unsalable and overstocked products, resulting in the shortage of funds for enterprises, difficulties in production turnover, inability to ensure normal production, and forced enterprises to stop production.

Before Shangman Expressway was completed and opened to traffic, the rapid development of Shanyang's industrial economy was seriously delayed due to the restriction of transportation conditions, long-term snow closure in winter in Qinling Mountain area, all roads were interrupted, and the development and transportation of mineral resources were difficult.

In the process of distributing the questionnaire, we learned from the communication with the villagers that most young people in the village work outside the home, and the phenomenon of labor loss is quite serious; Residents along the line think that Shangman Expressway can improve the investment environment along the line, promote regional economic development, promote the circulation of materials and improve the quality of life; Individual businessmen believe that Shangman Expressway can bring them business opportunities; Drivers believe that Shangman Expressway will improve regional traffic conditions and improve transportation efficiency; Farmers who have been expropriated hope to give reasonable compensation for land expropriation and properly solve the employment problem.

on July 21st, we came to Yuanjiagou township. First, we went to Hope Primary School in Yuanjiagou Township to visit children and give away stationery. In the conversation with the headmaster, I learned that: distance education resources and egg and milk project have benefited many students; The school lacks teachers with beautiful music and body, and the age structure of teachers is too large; There are many left-behind children in schools. Left-behind children are withdrawn and like to be alone, which is difficult to discipline.

then, accompanied by local government personnel, we visited the government site of Yuanjiagou Hubei-Shaanxi border Soviet area, reviewed the pledge of joining the League and paid tribute to the unknown revolutionary martyrs. "The sickle cuts the old Gankun, and the axe splits the new world." A couplet in the ruins of the government in the Soviet area along the Hubei-Shaanxi border silently reminds me to remember the heroic martyrs, take the revolutionary martyrs as an example, cherish the hard-won learning opportunities, work hard to learn the skills, carry forward the revolutionary spirit, and open up a bright and happy future.

in the afternoon, we came to the Transportation Bureau to have a discussion with the leaders on duty, and learned in detail about the development of highway transportation infrastructure in Shanyang County, the traffic composition of Shangman Expressway and Provincial Highway 23, the location advantages formed by the opening of Shangman Expressway and the traffic construction planning of xx in Shanyang County.

On July 22nd and 23rd, we visited Shaanxi Yongheng Vanadium Industry Group, Shaanxi Bikang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Shanyang Jinchuan Fengxing Chemical Co., Ltd. and had a talk with the receptionists. The person in charge of the enterprise not only introduced us to the general situation and output value of the enterprise, but also talked with us about the influence of the improvement of highway traffic conditions on the cost, efficiency, talent introduction and profit of the enterprise, and put forward reasonable suggestions for our investigation. They believe that the improvement of highway traffic conditions can bring enough business opportunities to enterprises, accelerate the circulation of materials and improve transportation efficiency.

at noon on July 23rd, we set off for school, and the nine-day investigation ended.

after returning to school, our team used two days to hold a meeting in time to summarize this research activity, and asked the teacher to give guidance on paper writing. During the holidays and after the start of school, the team members sorted out the materials according to the division of labor, and consulted the relevant materials to create the later papers. Summarize the information obtained from the investigation and the information obtained from consulting the materials, extract the purpose and harvest of this investigation, and complete the practice report. Third, some experiences and gains

Social practice in the three rural areas is a good opportunity for our college students to get out of campus, enter the grassroots, go deep into reality and get in touch with society. Although the time is relatively short, I feel a lot and gain a lot.

improve the ability of integrating theory with practice. As a student majoring in mathematical economics, I am filled with a lot of theories that are difficult to really understand all day. This practice of "going to the countryside" has provided me with an opportunity to get in touch with the society extensively, understand the national conditions, provinces and counties, and exercise myself. Discovering new knowledge and applying true knowledge in investigation and practice have improved the ability of integrating theory with practice. After the investigation, in order to write a good report, before the holiday, I borrowed six books related to industrial economics, transportation economics and industrial economics, and took them home to study. During the trip to the countryside, although there was no guidance teacher, we solved the practical problems found temporarily without any accidents. After all, it is the first time to plan a practical investigation, and there are still many improvements. For example, the selection of team members, the employment of instructors, the planning of funds, and the key is the determination of topics. All these need to be constantly studied, improved and improved in future activities. Through this activity, my practical ability has been greatly improved, which will have a very important impact on my future study and life.

I can't forget the blue sky, white clouds, green hills and green waters of Shanyang at the foot of Qinling Mountain, the simplicity, solidity and enthusiasm of the people there, the profound historical and cultural heritage and humanistic atmosphere there, and even the moments when 11 members of our team supported, depended on, encouraged and smiled at each other in the storm.
