Zu Ti (AD 266-32 1) was born in Qixian County (now Laishui County, Hebei Province) in the Jin Dynasty. Father Zuwu, Ren Shanggu satrap. Zu Ti lost his father and had six brothers. My brothers Zugai and Zuna are both very talented. Zu Ti is open-minded and wild. Before he started studying at the age of 14 or 15, his brothers were very worried about him. However, Zu Ti was generous. Every time he goes to the farmhouse, he distributes grain and silk in the name of his brother to help the poor. People in the village respect him very much. Later, Zu Ti read widely, covering ancient and modern times, and traveled between the two capitals. Everyone who has met him says that he has a gift for helping the world.

Zu Ti lives in Yangping. At the age of 24, Yang Ping recommended him to play Lian Xiao. Later, he was promoted to a scholar, but he refused.

According to this story, Zu Ti and Sikong Liu Kun were both secretaries of state, and they deeply loved each other and were closely related. They often sleep under the quilt. One night, a chicken crowed in the middle of the night. According to the superstition at that time, the chicken that chirps in the middle of the night is a pheasant, and it is unlucky to hear the pheasant's cry. However, after listening to the pheasant, Zu Ti woke Liu Kun up and said to him, "This is not an ominous sound." So they came to the yard, drew their swords and danced with each other until dawn.
