Main attractions of Huating Lake Scenic Area

Xifeng Temple, an ancient temple in the Tang Dynasty, was originally named Lion Temple. It is located on the Phoenix Mountain in the north of Taihu Lake. There are strange stones in the east of the temple, with pine and bamboo alternating. The word "high mountains and flowing water" is engraved on the rock in front of the temple, and a big stone stands on the cliff behind the temple. Wuzu Cave, Du Xian Bridge, Careful Slope, Fa Cave, First Line Sky, Flystone, Zhang Xifeng, Phoenix Peak, Rhino Wang Hu and Penglai Island are the top ten scenic spots of Xifeng Temple.

A huge stone, shaped like a lion, stands obliquely at the southeast corner of Xifeng Temple. There is a big hole under the stone that can accommodate dozens of people. The cave faces west and the wind enters from the mouth, hence the name "Xifeng Cave", also known as "Wuzu Cave". This cave is deserted all the year round, and there are no mosquitoes in summer nights. According to legend, it was once a meditation place for monks such as Hongren, the fifth ancestor of Zen Buddhism. There are statues of five ancestors in the cave, and the words "Xifeng Ancient Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty" can be faintly distinguished on the stone wall. Wenbo Garden, with a history of 5,000 years, is located in Taihu County, Anhui Province, 200 meters away from the Taihu exit of Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway, with superior geographical location and convenient transportation. It is a pilgrimage art hall of the oriental civilization world built by Wenbo Garden Investment Co., Ltd. with a history of 5,000 years in strict accordance with the national standard of 5A scenic spots. It is a great creation of China's culture and nature, and was named as a national cultural industry demonstration base by the Ministry of Culture.

Line 2: Take the Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway, pass through Suzhou-Xining-Hefei, directly transfer to the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway (Wuhan direction), and get off at Taihu intersection (Huating Lake). Line 3: From Shanghai Railway Station-Hefei (3 hours by train) and Hefei-Taihu Station (2 hours by train). After getting off the train, take a taxi for 3 kilometers to reach Huating Lake.

Line 4: Get on the bus from Shanghai coach station-get off at Taihu bus station (6 hours). Get off the bus and take a taxi for 3 kilometers to Huating Lake.

Line 5: Get on at Shanghai coach station-get off at Anqing coach station (5 hours) and get on at Anqing Hubin bus station-Taihu bus station (1 hour). Get off the bus and take a taxi for 3 kilometers to Huating Lake.

Line 3: From Nanjing Railway Station to Hefei (50 minutes by train), Hefei-Taihu Station (2 hours). After getting off the train, take a taxi for 3 kilometers to reach Huating Lake.

Line 4: Nanjing Xiaguan Bus Station-Taihu Bus Station (4 hours). Get off the bus and take a taxi for 3 kilometers to Huating Lake.

Line 5: get on at Nanjing Xiaguanchang Bus Station-get off at Anqing Coach Station (4 hours), and get on at Anqing Hubin Bus Station-Taihu Bus Station (1 hour). Get off the bus and take a taxi for 3 kilometers to Huating Lake.
