Track competition is an objective and structured clinical examination, which replaces the traditional examination mode with simulated nursing examination, and comprehensively evaluates the comprehensive quality and clinical thinking ability of athletes from the aspects of material preparation, nurse-patient communication and emergency response.

In this competition, there are two test sites, namely, theoretical test and skill test, to comprehensively examine the contestants' professional basic theory and knowledge, clinical thinking and decision-making ability, emergency rescue ability, judgment ability, clinical common nursing operation execution ability, occupational protection awareness, patient safety awareness, nurse-patient communication and humanistic care ability.

The skill examination station is equipped with the first track and the second track, which respectively complete the rescue of patients with respiratory and cardiac arrest and the airway care of patients with tracheotomy after stroke. Specific projects include cardiopulmonary resuscitation, ECG monitoring, intravenous infusion and patient evaluation, airway humidification, turning over and knocking on the back, and sputum aspiration.
