Several steps in the teaching of ancient poetry

First, teaching should be deepened step by step.

(1) Preparation before reading. For example, introduce the author and the background of the times and explain some words.

(2) Understand from reading. Ask the students to repeat and tell the general idea of each poem. Further understand the meaning of poetry.

(3) Inspire aesthetics. Guide students to expand their imagination and experience the artistic beauty of poetry, so that students can be infected from the artistic image, get the voice of the soul and get artistic appreciation from education.

Second, guide students to analyze from the outside to the inside.

It is not enough to learn poetry literally. Students should be guided to further understand the content of a poem. Only in this way can students improve their understanding of things. Because in poetry, it is often "the combination of emotion and scene, meaning and image", if we grasp the scene expressing emotion and the image expressing artistic conception, we can deeply analyze many different scenes and images of a poem, find out their similarities and connections, and then we can draw out the essential content of the poem. For example, in this lesson, "Looking at Tianmen Mountain", "Tianmen breaks the Chu River, Higashi Shimizu flows, opposite the castle peak, and the solitary sail comes day by day." These surfaces describe the steep and majestic Tianmen and the mighty Yangtze River, but a little analysis shows that the author is praising the great rivers and mountains of the motherland and expressing his thoughts and feelings of loving the motherland.

Third, we should guide students to expand their imagination.

Poetry is created by imagination. In particular, Li Bai, an imaginative hero poet, can fully spread the wings of imagination in his poems. For example, let students imagine that Tianmen Mountain is like two doors sandwiched between the Yangtze River. You can mobilize your emotions and get infected.

Fourth, you should be familiar with it.

Learning poetry can improve students' reading and reciting ability, and the beauty of poetry language can only be realized through repeated reading. Therefore, in the teaching of ancient poetry, we should pay attention to let students read repeatedly and cultivate their reading skills.
