According to the relevant laws and regulations of the state, the Customs has made adjustments to the List of Articles Prohibited from Entering People's Republic of China (PRC) and the List of Articles Restricted from Entering People's Republic of China (PRC) issued and implemented by Order No.43 of the General Administration of Customs. As follows:

List of articles prohibited from entering or leaving People's Republic of China (PRC)

1. prohibited articles

1. All kinds of weapons, simulation weapons, ammunition and explosives;

2. Forged currency and forged securities;

3. Printed matter, films, photos, records, films, audio tapes, video tapes, laser discs, computer storage media and other articles harmful to China's politics, economy, culture and morality;

4. All kinds of potent poisons;

5. Opium, morphine, heroin, marijuana and other addictive narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances;

6 animals, plants and their products with dangerous germs, pests and other harmful organisms;

7. Foods, medicines and other articles that are harmful to human and animal health, come from epidemic areas and can spread diseases.

2. Articles prohibited from leaving the country

1. All items included in the prohibited entry scope;

2 manuscripts, printed matter, films, photographs, records, films, audio tapes, video tapes, laser discs, computer storage media and other articles involving state secrets;

3. Precious cultural relics and other cultural relics prohibited from leaving the country;

4 endangered and precious animals and plants (including specimens and their seeds and propagation materials.

According to Announcement No.470 of the General Administration of Customs of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the list of animals and plants, animal and plant products and other quarantine objects prohibited from entering People's Republic of China (PRC) is as follows:

List of animals and plants, their products and other quarantine objects prohibited from being brought or mailed into China (China [1]).

I. Animals and animal products

(1 live animals (except dogs and cats [2]). Including all mammals, birds, fish, crustaceans, amphibians, reptiles, insects and other invertebrates.

(two) raw (or cooked) meat (including organs and their products.

(3) Aquatic animal products. Except for edible sauce aquatic animal products made after drying, cooking and fermentation.

(4) Animal-derived milk and dairy products. Including raw milk, pasteurized milk, sterilized milk, improved milk, fermented milk, cream, butter, cheese, condensed milk and other dairy products.

(5) Eggs and their products. Including fresh eggs, preserved eggs, salted eggs, egg liquid, eggshells, mayonnaise and other egg source products.

(6 bird's nest. Except for the canned bird's nest that has been disinfected commercially.

(seven) grease, skin, hair, hoof (claws, bones, teeth, horns and their products. Processed eggshells and hooves without blood, muscle and fat (except claw bones, shells, crustaceans and other handicrafts).

(8) Animal-derived feed, animal-derived Chinese herbal medicine and animal-derived fertilizer.

Two. Plants and plant products

Fresh fruits and vegetables.

(10 fresh cut flowers.

(1 1 tobacco leaves.

(twelve) seeds, seedlings and other plants, plant products and materials with reproductive ability.

Three. Other quarantine objects

(thirteen) strains, viruses, parasites and other animal and plant pathogens, pests and other harmful organisms, veterinary biological products, biological materials such as cells, organs and tissues, blood and its products and other high-risk biological factors.

(fourteen) animal carcasses, animal specimens and animal feces.

(15 soil and organic medium.

(16 transgenic biological materials.

(seventeen) other animals and plants, animal and plant products and other quarantine objects prohibited by the state from entering the country.

Note: 1. Animals and plants, animal and plant products and other quarantine objects brought or mailed into the country are not subject to this list if they are approved by the relevant administrative departments of the state and hold quarantine certificates issued by the official institutions of the exporting countries or regions.

2. Dogs, cats and other pets with animal quarantine certificates and vaccination certificates issued by official institutions of exporting countries or regions are only allowed to carry or check one alone. Specific quarantine requirements shall be implemented in accordance with relevant regulations.

3. Where there are other provisions in laws, administrative regulations and departmental rules on animals and plants, their products and other quarantine objects that are prohibited from being brought or mailed into China, such provisions shall prevail.
